Mini Challenge #1 : Translation Software : Multitran

First, I didn't want to take part in this challenge because I use the translation programs not so often — few times they seriously let me down. But! There's one online dictionary I use really often. Here it is — multitran.com⤵

Multitran is perfect for searching for single words and idioms in English or Russian. I write this language pair — Eng-Rus — because it works really the best. Nevertheless this site gives an opportunity to translate from / into many languages (I've count 37), some of them can't be used for serious translations.

For example, Multitran doesn't work well with Ukrainian-Eng language pair.

I use multitran on PC or mobile phone — just a web version, no apps.

Why I like Multitran? It gives multiple options to choose a word I need:

I was using Multitran for the Rock Book song lyrics translation (it's a book of the world rock hits and their equirythmical translations into Ukrainian language):

Also I was using Multitran to translate some fables into Eng for commercial purpose:

My conclusion: there's no better Rus-Eng online dictionary / vocabulary than https://www.multitran.com
