WHAT ARE STEEMIT KEY?
these are password or unique key that allow the owner to perform certain task or function on the steemit account the key like every other password are personal and not to be shared with any body because any second or third party access to these key could cause the compromise or vandalisation of your account.so the keep your account safe are must make sure that this key are stored in a safe place that can easily be retrieved.this is because if one loses key that person has automatically his access to his steemit account.

DIFFERENT KEY TYPE AND THEIR FUNCTION
•Master key
The master key password is the password given to you during your signing up which should be kept safe because it can be used to derive all key for your account, including the owner key.

•Owner key
The owner key is only meant for use when necessary.it is the most Important key as it can change and key of an account it's main function is for the recovery of a compromise account.

Active key:
The active key is used for transferring funds,power up/down transaction converting steem dollars, voting for witness, updating profile details and placing market order.

Memo key:
This particular key has the ability to encrypt your message in a particular way that is just you sender and the receiver knows the idea what is contain or have in the message.

Posting key:
This key can allow a user to make posts.edit posts,resteem,silent and to follow other people system.

DIFFERENT BETWEEN MASTER KEY AND OWNER KEY
One may be confused about the function of this two key . the master password,is used in deriving all other key through your wallet when you have list your key but can still access your master password and will be retrieved from your safe storage place while the owner key is used solely when your account has been compromised

These keys are all important so it is must that you keep all these keys safe and well because you cannot recover your account if these key are lost . Also you are warned never to allow any third party to access your account or any of your private.
I have successfully retrieved all my private keys. I stored my private keys on a hard copy drive and also backed it up via my email.
I have also learnt about how to perform a some actions on my wallet.I will discuss them below with the follwing questions.

How to Transfer Steem To Another User
• login to your wallet

•Click on the drop button beside ur steemit balance.
• Click on transfer
• A new window will open. In the window enter the username you want to send the steem to.

Click on the next botton. A configuration page will open showing that the token has been transferred successfully.

How to power up steem
•Enter your steemit wallet

Click the drop down box beside your steem balance, then select power up.

•The system will request how much steem you want to power up

Select the amount you want to power up from the available steem balance and click power up.

At this point now you then click ok, finally this is how to power up my steem
