Am very happy that am coming to the end of my Achievements posts, believe me, it hasn't been an easy road for me.
Still, all thanks must be given to @cryptokannon and @bright-obias for their special guidelines they me gave me on how to go about with each and every Achievement post.

DO YOU UNDERSTAND HOW VOTING AND CURATION WORKS IN STEEMIT

Before I start the explanation, it's worthwhile to know that steemit has a fixed Reward pool and the reward that accompanies a vote, comes directly from the reward pool.

Curation is a reward that is gotten from voting. It is a reward earned when a good content is been voted. In short, I can say that voting begats curation because before an account is been curated, it must first be voted. Steemit voting pattern is as simple as the tap of a facebook like icon or double tapping an instagram image. But the difference is that steemit voting comes with a reward called curation. Casting a vote on steemit requires the of green coloring icon for upvotes or the red coloring icon for downvote.

Users who curate posts gets 50 percent of the rewards they distributed.
It should also be noted that your steem power influences the amount of Curation you can vote out to others.

There is also what is called voting mana in steemit.
It's a bar that shows the percentage a user used in voting posts and each percentage power is determined by your steem power.

WHAT HAPPENED IF YOU VOTE A POST BEFORE FIVE MINUTES MARK AFTER POSTING?

After 5 minutes of posting, The 50% split received by the Curator will be calculated linearly, in respect to time the vote was casted.

This information will be explained diagramatically for better comprehension.

WHO WILL VOTE YOUR STEEM WITNESS? AND WHY?

With the little experience I've gotten from writing my Achievements, most especially Achievement 5, I'll cast my vote for @steemchiller and @justyy because of the nice work they've done in the development of @SteemWorld.org and @Steemyy.com respectively.

Am selecting them not just because of what they've developed but because the steemit blockchain needs people called witness to create blocks and uses a consensus mechanism called Delegated Proof of Stake, and they're the only familiar people I know because of their wonderful work in the development of the above third party tools.

WHICH COMMUNITY WILL YOU JOIN IN STEEMIT AND WHY?

The first thing I did after opening my account was to subscribe to communities that are likened to my behavior.

Among those communities are;

• steemAlive;
  steemAlive is one of the most coordinated community in steemit, everything is properly arranged making sure every user that writes genuinely will be rewarded equally. Beside they allow all types of post.

• Steemcrypto Academy;
  This is one community I've really wished to join because I really want to know about crypto currency because it's one trending topic in the mouth of youths, and I would really want to join such conversation.

• Steem geography;
  another thing I cherish is nature, especially the fight for survival in wild life. And that aspect of my life can only be satisfied in steem geography.
