In other to make a nice and lovely post in this platform, there are some ways of writing that's adviced to be used.
These patterns of writing makes a post look matured and easy to understand. Thanks to @bright15 for the wonderful mentorship and guide from the very first day I signed up on this platform. Below are some of the regularly used markdown styles in steemit.

APPLYING MARKDOWN STYLES

1.To break a page

Just with the use of four asterisks (****) brings a line that breaks a page. From my observation, it is the simplest markdown style in this platform.
For example;

Input:

2.Heading

Heading works in steemit using the symbol (#). When you place the (#) in front of the word or the text then give just a space then you will see the size you want, just note that the more (#) you put will determine the size of the text you get.
For example;

Input:

Output:

Bold: use two **, then write the desired word and close with two ** .
italics: use one *, then write the desired word and close with one *.
strike through: use two ~~, then write the desired word and close with two ~~.
