Hello steemians, am glad to have come this far in my achievement post. The achievement posts have helped me understand properly how this platform work. in this post I will be showing my understanding of SteemScan.com

Steemscan

Steemscan provides users with tools to convert steem to other currencies such as bitcoin BTC, USDT and Trons TRX. This tool also provides the ability to transfer funds from steemit to other wallets.

Current steem price

The latest steem price is displayed at the top of the steemscan page. In this section we can see statistics showing the current volumes and price of steem. From the image below the current steem price is 0.61.

Latest transaction

The image below shows the latest transactions. The latest transaction sits just below the current steem price section. It shows the identity of the users who perfomed transaction in steemscan. These transactions could be voting, transfer, comment.claim rewards and so on. It contains some details like the Block ID, ID, Sender Reciever/permlink/id, Type and amount/%/Payload.

Latest blocks

In the latest blocks section we have the block ID and the number of transactions that took place under the blocks.

Witness section

To access the witness page you click on the menu icon and click on witness. In this witness section we can see a list of witness with details like the name, status rank and so on.

How to vote a witness

To vote witness we have to go to the click on the home button, then click on witness. When the witness page loads completely, we can see vote at the far right side of each record in the row. click on vote on any user you wish to vote for, this will lead us to a page to confirm transaction and then we click on continue.

What is Dapps

Dapps means decentralized applications, these are applications that run on a blockchain network. To get to the Dapps click on the menu section and select the Dapps. Under the Dapps we can see Steemworld, Steemyy steemScan Dtube etc.

Quick convert

The steem convert section section is where steem can be converted from steem to other crypto currencies such as BTC TRNX USDT etc. there are few steps to carry out the process.
Click on menu and click on quick convert.
Enter the amount of steem you want to convert
Converting assets? Select a currency e.g USDT, BTC and TRX
Enter the withdrawal address where you want to convert your crypto
Click ok when you are sure that the details is correct
The fee charge differs based on the amount. For example in the image above the fee for 5 steem is 1.12114900 USDT
When converting to BTC the fees for 5 steem is 0.00050046 BTC while for TRX is 0.26008057 TRX

Search

The search is the last item in the menu. It provides access to search for transactions, block and account. A space is needed to add the transaction ID and some other parameters to enhance the search.
