Achievement 5 Task 1 by @acbaby: Review steemworld.org
I got to know about steemworld.org after reading a Review of steemworld.org by @yohan2on. On this site, everything about your steemit account has been put together in one place such that you are just a click away from getting anything you are looking for. I will review this site by explaining the following key points and how to access the map on this site.
1. REWARDS SUMMARY
In order to check your rewards summary, you simply take www.steemworld.org link and login to your account or just take www.steemworld.org/“your username” for example www.steemworld.org/@acbaby will simply take me to my account via steemworld.org. Here you can check your rewards summary for the last week or month.
Once you are in your account via steemworld.org, you will find yourself on the homepage which shows al the details of your account. To see your rewards summary, simply scroll down below your CSI index, boom you will see your rewards summary for the last 7 and/or 30days.
2. DELEGATION
Delegation of Steem Power (SP) is a process whereby users on the Steemit platform give out or receive SP from/to other users for the purpose of curation. Most at times this activity is carried out by users to support their communities or other users that are not too active on the platform. With high SP values an account has higher curation capacity and this inturns helps the delegators by profitable upvotes gained from their supported curation account.
Like I said, delegation can be incoming or outgoing.
An incoming delegation is one where an account receives delegation of SP from another account. For example, if an account is delegating SP to my account, that is an incoming delegation to me. At the moment I don’t have any incoming delegation as you can see from the screenshot.
Outgoing delegations are those where an account is “giving out” some of its SP to another account for curation purposes. For example, as we can see from the screenshot below, @acbaby has delegated 200SP from her total SP to @steem-cameroon and in this case it is an outgoing delegation from @acbaby while for @steem-cameroon its an incoming delegation.
How do I delegate SP?
If a user needs to delegate SP to another account on Steemit, you simply login to www.steemworld.org as I showed it above. After you login, click on “Dashboard” and then take on “Delegation”. On the delegation page you will see a row for Incoming, Outgoing, Expiring, and Delegate on different columns.
Click on “Delegate” and input the amount of SP and the username of the account you want to delegate part of your SP to. Finally you input your Private Active Key and validate the transaction by approving it. The screenshot below explains this more better.
3. ACCOUNT OPERATION
Account operation as the name sounds is like a ledger that records all the activities carried out by your account. Every detail of your account is registered here including transactions, upvotes (incoming and outgoing), and comments. It can also be used to check past activities of your account.
To carry out activity checks on upvotes, you can simply click on the menu button and then take on incoming or outgoing upvotes to check history. This will provide you with your vote history and to choose a preference, you can just click “IN” for incoming upvotes and “OUT” for outgoing upvotes. The screenshot below is more explicit.
4. REWARDS
There exists 3 types of rewards; curation rewards, beneficiary rewards, and author rewards.
Author Rewards: these are rewards a user gets for creating contents on the Steem blockchain.
Curation Rewards: these are rewards you get by voting on the contents of others on the Steem blockchain. These are rewards a user gets from the upvotes by curation from other users on the user’s blog posts. For example when other Steemit users upvote my posts, the rewards I get is what is known as curation reward.
Beneficiary Rewards: These are rewards users get when other users create contents on Steemit and will part of their author reward to the other users who are not the original authors of the content. In this case, the author rewards will be divided to the different beneficiaries depending on the percentage in place.
5. UPVOTE VALUE
To check your upvote value using this tool you simply click on “Dashboard” after you must have login to your account. It is found on the top left hand corner of the dashboard page. It comprises of a percentage vote meter which enables you to calibrate the vote value you want to give on a particular content.
Surfing this site makes the use of Steemit become easier. Every detail has been put together to ease user access into the system at all times. I can say that the steelworld.org site is just one of the best tools that is very helpful to every Steemit user.
