"SLC26-W2 | Street Business Diaries: Street Fruit, vegetable and fish sales."
Steemian Friends,
Today, I will participate in a challenge from @max-pro's brother in the second week of Steemit Challenge 26. The name of this week's challenge is SLC26-W2 | Street Business Diaries: Street Fruit, vegetable and fish sales. I hope everyone will like my blog.
In our city, the demand for each of the fruit, fish and vegetable markets is equal. Three foods are essential for the family. Fruits, fish and vegetables meet the vitamin needs of the human body. However, the demand for fish and vegetables is the highest. Eating fresh vegetables and fish every day is a tradition of our country. The people of our country like fish and vegetables more. Every morning, they sell vegetables and fish in vans or on the side of the road in the alleys of the city. I live in the capital of our country, Dhaka. I buy vegetables every morning because they are fresh. I buy fish every week. So vegetables are the most in demand among the above three. If you look at my diary games, you will understand that I almost always post pictures of buying vegetables in the morning. Fresh vegetables are sold every day in the alleys of our capital, Dhaka. We don't have to go to big markets, we can buy vegetables from the roadside. I have shared pictures of fruits, vegetables and fish sold on the roadsides of our country below.

Today I have shared a picture and video of a fish vendor on the roadside in front of my house. I always buy fish from a fish vendor sitting on the roadside. I have been buying fish from this shop for the last six years. They sell fish according to the needs of the people of our area. They sell small fish, rui, pangasius, tilapia and cuttlefish. There are some advantages and disadvantages of buying fish sold on the roadside. However, I get the benefit of buying fish from this shop and cutting the fish.
The name of the fish seller on the side of the road is Billal. I have a perfect relationship with the seller because I always buy fish. I like to buy small fish. Sometimes I purchase big fish. The fish seller has used a canopy to protect himself from the sun. Today I have come to make a video about buying fish and knowing the price to participate in the Steemit challenge.

Today I saw Fungus fish as the cheapest fish. I don't eat Fungus fish, so I buy small fish. To participate in the Steemit challenge, I found out the prices of other fish in the store. I have mentioned the prices of some fish below.
My selfie in front of the fish shop on the side of the road
I don't cut fish from here. I have to pay separately for cutting each kilo of fish. I have shown the fish seller cutting fish in the video. Most of the people in our office buy fish from this shop. Sometimes, some people sell fish in vans. There is no big fish market here, so everyone buys fish from the fish shops selling on the roadside.

- Roadside fruit, fish, and vegetable vendors sometimes attract customers by reducing prices. However, most of the time, the prices of fresh fruits, vegetables and fish are high. When the time is up, that is, the freshness is gone, they sell at a reduced price. In this case, it is convenient for lower-middle-class families to buy fruits, fish and vegetables. Economically well-off families purchase fresh vegetables, fruits and fish at higher prices.
- In the case of fish, vendors try to sell fresh fish. As lower middle-class and well-off families, vendors understand that they sell fruits, fish and vegetables according to demand. For example, there are some areas of the city where high-income people live, so they sell high-quality fruits, vegetables, and fish in those areas. On the other hand, considering the hard-working people, vendors adopt the technique of selling vegetables, fruits and fish. For example, lower middle-class families will not buy sea fish, so roadside vendors sell fish according to demand, which is their technique.
- Besides, cutting the fish after selling it is a technique. By selling fruits, fish and vegetables in front of the customer's house, people reduce the cost and effort of going to the market. The seller provides the facility as a home service.
- The biggest technique used by roadside shops to sell fruits, vegetables, and fish is to allow customers to see and buy them with their own hands.
- Since roadside fruit, fish, and vegetable vendors do not have to pay rent, they sell at lower prices than these shops.
These businesses are essential for health and nutrition, but they also have some disadvantages. Food sold on the side of the road, such as fruits and vegetables, can be attacked by various types of viruses in the open air. Viruses can enter the human body through fruits and vegetables. Fish, in particular, if not kept at a specific temperature, rots, and later we eat it, causing health and nutritional problems.
Fish is processed and sold with ice in large fish markets.
Fruits, vegetables and fish sold on the roadside are very effective for health and nutrition if they are sold at a specific temperature according to the rules. Formalin-free vegetables from village soil are very important for health and nutrition. The effectiveness of roadside fish, vegetables, and fruits for health and food depends on the seller.
