"There are two factors involved in this question: first, the path and the teaching you are about to impart or show to others should not hide any mystery from us; second, you must understand the appropriateness of such teaching with regarding their dispositions. You must discover what abilities they have inherited from their past lives. Therefore, unless you become a Buddha and attain omniscience, your help and advice may turn out to be no more than a temporary favor. The fact from cultivating the aspiration to help others becomes a cause to cultivating the second wish, the will to attain Buddhahood for the good of all beings. Such are the two levels of the bodhicitta awakening spirit. "

Such a state of mind cannot be developed in the span of a few months or a few years, but it does not mean that it cannot be cultivated. If you continue our practices cultivating bodhichitta, there will come a time when you will achieve. For example, in the initial stage, you may not even understand how it is possible to cultivate such a state of mind. But thanks to a habitual practice and habit, or to bring him closer gradually. It is in the nature of things conditions. It is also important to remember the advantages and benefits of such an attitude and to cultivate the firm determination to achieve it. Pray ardently, whether when you are sleeping, walking or sitting, you should think "How nice it would be to be able to cultivate that state of mind!" Try to cultivate bodhichitta even if it is only at the aspirational level. If you spend your days practicing repeatedly and be sure, there is no doubt that you will be able to develop it. Make up your mind to cultivate it even if it takes many eons.
