It is about the friendship between Emma and Dexter, they meet at graduation where Dexter wants to be intimate with Emma, but she makes time pass and nothing happens.

Emma and Dexter remained as great friends and with the particularity of seeing each other on the same day every year, which in the film is July 15.

Every July 15 these are seen, and they are told that they have done a year, Dexter having many romances and Emma lonely and dedicated to work.

Years pass and Dexter becomes a television host, only at the same time he gets into drugs and alcohol. Emma by calls tries to help him overcome that stage, in which Dexter's mother dies of cancer and he changes his behavior.

After all that, Dexter gets married but after a year he gets divorced because his wife cheated on him with a very rich friend. He has a daughter from his ex-marriage, he comes on July 15 and sees Emma again.

In the last meeting Emma is in a romance and Dexter leaves sad, but before leaving Emma returns and tells him that she was always in love with him and that she will not let him leave this time.

And these two friends become an excellent couple, they plan to marry only that there happens a great tragedy, in which Emma dies, Dexter is traumatized, he returns to his stage of drugs and alcohol.

Years go by and Dexter stays alive, since he imagines that he still lives with Emma, so the years go by and he ends up alone with his daughter.
