Если свернуть в сторону от Телецентра Брянска, то по узкой дороге можно добраться до Свенского монастыря. Здесь необычайно спокойно и умиротворяюще, несмотря на то, что вся цивилизация расположилась буквально под боком.

Мы всей семьёй любим бывать здесь, потому что тут очень красивые виды с холма на бескрайний брянский лес и на реку Десну, протекающую у подножья обители. Тут почему-то всегда достаточно тихо, несмотря на то, что сюда любят приезжать свадебные кортежи, да и просто разные любители загородного отдыха.

Летом тут становится особенно красиво, потому что окрестности утопают в яркой зелени. А осенью сюда можно приехать и набрать яблок в огромном монастырском саду. Причём монахи никогда не запрещают пользоваться садом и яблок можно набрать, хоть целый мешок.

В начале сентября на огромном лугу перед монастырём проходит большая ярмарка, куда свозят товары со всех окрестных областей и даже из других ближних городов. На ярмарке полно разных полезных товаров, в том числе и предметов народных промыслов. В ближайшие выходные надо будет уговорить жену с дочкой снова приехать сюда, чтобы вдохнуть атмосферу классической русской старины.

The whole family loves to visit here, because there are very beautiful views from the hill to the boundless Bryansk forest and the Desna River flowing at the foot of the monastery. For some reason, it is always quite quiet here, despite the fact that wedding motorcades like to come here, and just different lovers of country holidays.

In summer, it becomes especially beautiful here, because the surroundings are surrounded by bright greenery. And in autumn you can come here and pick apples in the huge monastery garden. Moreover, the monks never forbid using the garden and you can collect apples, even a whole bag.

At the beginning of September, a large fair takes place on a huge meadow in front of the monastery, where goods are brought from all the surrounding areas and even from other nearby cities. The fair is full of various useful goods, including handicrafts. Next weekend, it will be necessary to persuade my wife and daughter to come here again to breathe in the atmosphere of classical Russian antiquity.
