The book I’m currently reading is “The Roommate” by Rosie Danan.
I started it one day ago, and it’s the first actual contemporary romance I’ve read in a month. I have to say, so far, I have been reminded why I love contemporary romance😍. I will try to avoid spoilers when I talk about them😅 because I wouldn't say I like spoilers with books.
Rosie Danan has a way of describing the characters and making you interested in a way that makes you laugh😂, enjoy the characters, and live through the pages as if their personalities are yours.
It doesn’t have too strong language, and the heated scenes so far are moderate.
So far in the book, the main character, a woman named Clara, who comes from a family of generational wealth that hates scandals, left her hometown and everything she knows to move in with her best friend that she has been in love with for 14 years🤦🏾♀️.
The shocking turn of events is that said best friend leaves her high and dry to go on a tour, and not only that, he has rented out the other room to a hot guy who is a porn star😂😂.
Clara is conservative, so this comes as a shock to her.
I cannot wait to read more and see what happens between Clara and her roommate and laugh at more funny moments.
I am really looking forward to finishing this book.😌
