Steem Plants Competition Week #7: @sweetspicy

Hi everyone good day!

It's nice to be here, like many others my family and I are plants lover. When pandemic the corona virus spread in the Philippines mostly of our neighborhood started to collect plants in any kinds because of quarantine, when the Philippine government announced for community quarantine people have nothing to do so they focus on the plants. Until now it became a habit to all of us here making our backyard beautiful with plants, we have many plants in our backyard and needs to be cared everyday that's why we woke up early every morning to watered the plants specially this summer season, because the soil got dry that causes plants lye and died.

Amazing Hibiscus

When I was on my vacation last week at the island of Camotes one of the island in Cebu I saw this beautiful flowers as I passed by. I admired it's color and it gave beauty to the place where it planted very attractive, local tourist also enjoy taking photos of this very beautiful flowers. This flowers also called hibiscus

Moneymaker

My favorite plants at home is called money maker it is a flowery kind of plants , that bears 2 colors of flowers yellow and red. It is a lucky plant mostly displayed indoors as a lucky charm, ours we put outside beside our door, it can be seen by passers by and easily recognized when it bears plenty of flowers. This plant will grow tall but slowly. Our money maker plant was given by my aunt 15 years ago but still at its 6 ft.tall, when rainy season this will bear plenty of flowers.

Crossandra

We also have this plants at home named crossandra infundi buliformis , we have many colors of this plant but did not survived because of the heat of the sun was not very well cared this is the only color of this kind survive.

Hedrangea Macrophylla

This flower is called hydrangea macrophylla, I saw this flower when we were in the Bulakan ni Alijandra during the pre- nuptial of my sister @georgie84 we were there . Bulakan ni Alejandra is one of the tourist spots here in Cebu, it's a very nice place uphill surrounded by many different kind of flowers I was very attracted to this flower that's why I took photo of this.

Ornamental plants from our backyard

Plants are stress reliever it brings life and give joy to plants lovers.
