Did he downvote your post? It doesn't appear so.
The payouts shown on posts change with the change price of STEEM - it is calculated on a 3 day average.
Lately I also heard about the reason being a 3-day average, but still are you really 100% sure that if @blockchaindaily didn't vote on the 6th day my posts, that the value of the posts would on the rewarding day still update itself to that lower value? I have a feeling that there may be a "positive bug" in the system, that if nobody votes on the 6th day, that we would still get the un-updated value..
