" Kids of the World " week-6: Sharing our Blessings to the Kids - They Deserve to be Happy!!

Good day lovely Steemians!!! It's me again @saneunji thanking you all for checking out my post today.

And special thanks to @olesia and @soulwind for initiating this contest to reach out and open the eyes of everyone, how lovely and how important the "Kids of the World" are.

Kids are the most lovely, adorable and beautiful creatures on earth. They give life and joy to every home. Each one of them deserves LOVE regardless of their age, gender, disabilities and raise. Kids also deserves to have a family and to live happily with them. No child should be abandoned alone. Kids are supposed to enjoy freely BUT that freedom changed when the pandemic hit the world starting year 2020. No kids are allowed to go outside especially in Malls, Parks or even in Food chains/restaurants.
So my family and I had this idea and started some activities for the kids in our compound so that they can somehow have fun and enjoy their youth amidst crisis.

Recreational Activites:

DANCE CONTEST

Once a year we had this festival, the Sinulog Festival - a very well known festival here in the Philipines and instead of celebrating it outside, we celebrate it at home. We let the kids perform the Sinulog dance and whoever dances well will receive a prize. So the kids tried their best to win.

EASTER EGG HUNT

This a fun activity for the kids wherein we hide the eggs with a corresponding amount of money written on each eggs. Their prize depends on the amount of the eggs they could find. So the kids really tried their best to find the eggs as fast as they can to claim a bigger prize.

CHRISTMAS GIFT GIVING

Christmas is a season of giving and it is an important season for the kids. Most of the kids are hoping to receive gifts from Santa during that time. So my family and I made ourselves as Santa ( without a costume ). We gave them gifts like toys and chocolates and it really made them very very happy.

Organizing these kinds of activities for the kids was our way of giving back of all the blessings we received. This is our way of making them happy and somehow forget the cruelty of the world.
