THE DIARY GAME : 26/05/21 - HAD MY FIRST CAR ACCIDENT EVER! Very sad day for me!
Greetings of the day my dear Steemians!
It is rare that I feel so down in my life...and today was such a day for me!
I started my day very well and had to go to a court which is 30 minutes drive from my house, and just when I arrived there...BOOM!!!
A big lorry changed lane and hit my car at the back...
I felt so down when this happen, as I always drive my car to the best I can and here a careless driver just came and damaged my car!
On the picture below you can see the lorry tyres mark on the road...I was just in front of it turning in a road found on the right!
I immediately called my big brother and family members to let them know of the situation. Even some friends who live nearby came to support me.
I am thankful to all of them.
They were all worried about me and the good news is that I am safe and did not have any type of shock by the collision.
This situation completely ruined my day...my beautiful car is in such a state!
Finally most of the day ended on the road waiting for the towing service to lift my car and send to the garage for insurance and reparation etc...
It is always so heartbreaking seeing something/someone you love being damaged!
Now I have to look out for another car for me to be able to travel to go to work and...yes you guessed it right...I have to spend some money for someone else mistake...
And also I have to pay excess for the insurance etc...what a bad day indeed!
When I came back home it was already 3pm and to make me a little happy...my wife prepared a special kind of flat bread which I really enjoyed with some butter and honey...
But...but...but thanks to my steemit blog and mainly Steemit Iron Chef contest...my evening will surely be better!
I will be spending my full evening judging the entries of the 2nd round of the contest...we have over 60 entrants for this round!
My advise to all drivers...be double vigilant on the road...you never know where the danger may come.
You may drive very carefully and take all precautions...still there can be someone crazy out there coming from nowhere and hit you!
Stay Safe my friends, the road is dangerous.

Wow, que malo amigo, imagino tu rabia e impotencia, pero entre todo lo malo siempre hay algo bueno, agradece a Dios que estas bien y que solo fueron daños materiales, y tu estas sano y salvo y pudiste volver junto tu familia. Saludos.
Yes my friend, I am so grateful that I am safe and it is only material damage. But this situation made my whole family stressed as they thought I was hurt...

Ugh that sucks! Glad you're okay, but such a sad day for your car. How sweet of your wife to cheer you up with the flat bread though!
I actually felt so down when it was happening my friend...was like in a movie...all slow motion!Lol!
I must say I was quite lucky as there was not so many people on the road or else it would have been very dangerous. Happy to have come out safe!
It was actually the first time I eat that flatbread...was very delicious!
