Color Palette: Black Endures The Test Of Time

Its been a while since I have participated in a contest. This time I'm excited to join in the color pallete contest initiated by @olesia and @dmitrik with "Black" as the theme color. Black is a beautiful color and this motivates me to showcase how beautiful, meaningful, and historical the color is.

The picture above shows the Magellans Cross. This was the original cross as Ferdinand Magellan planted the seed of Christian Faith among the Filipino people. One of the historical and cultural landmark in my country. Its black color surpasses the challenge of time as it endures the test of time. Most of our fellow country men visit this place to pay tribute and honor the child Jesus "Santo Niño." Cebu have been the pillar of the Roman Catholic, it is very popular around the world as we celebrate the "Sinulog Festival." This is one of grandest festival wherein dancers with their colorful costumes dances in the street with one beat. Despite the pandemic we keep our faith that everything will be fine as we shout loud and proud that the power of our faith will conquer all diseases and illnesses.

Pit Senyor for our economy to achieve growth and progress so that we stand again as a nation.

Black resembles the color of surpassing our battles in life. For this we stand again as a humanity full of hope in our hearts. In every aspects of human nature we keep a balance of good and bad. We need to go beyond what our hearts desire!

May we all appreciate every colors in our life. What makes us stronger are the test of time, just like the black color a symbol of pain, trials, endurance and within the deeps of human world. As we endure all of this, we become the star in the dark black nights.
