Let's know the details about the chicks.

• The age of the baby should be 3-4 days in hot season and 10-12 days in winter. Then the chicken will give um to the baby itself. It will not require artificial um (brooding). At this time the mother chicken should be fed. The mother should separate the baby's food from the chicken's food. Babies will learn to eat with their mother. After the above mentioned time the chicken should be separated from the chick. In this condition the child should be given artificial brooding and food. From then on, everything like child rearing system has to be followed. The mother hen should be fed separately. At this time the mother chicken should be given water soluble vitamins to recover quickly. Mother hens and chicks should be separated in such a way that they are out of sight. Even the chirping sound of the baby as if the mother hen could not hear. Otherwise, no one will eat or drink anything to call the mother and child. If the condition is adapted after separation, there is no problem. Each chicken should be given 80-90 grams of layer food at this time. At the same time you have to ride for 5-6 hours.

Poultry farming is a business where it is possible to earn a good income in a few days. Chicken eggs and meat are not only delicious but also rich in non-vegetarian food. Raising chickens not only meets the food needs of the family but also creates additional income opportunities. Currently, commercial poultry farms are being set up in cities, suburbs and villages. The chicken coop should be in a place that is free from sun, rain and cold. The place must be open. The rules for building a chicken coop are given below:
1.5 m (5 ft) long x1.2 m (4 ft) wide and 1 m (3.5 ft) high house should be constructed.
The fence of the house should be made of bamboo tarpaulin or wooden plank. Earthen walls can also be made.
The fence or wall should have holes for light ventilation.
Household rice can be made using straw, tin or bamboo sheets with polythene. In such a house 10-15 chickens can be reared.

Food:

Poultry picks up the daily surplus or stale food of the house such as discarded flour, curry, scattered wheat, paddy, insects, discarded parts of vegetables, grass, herbs, gravel, stone chips etc. They grow in the open air, especially in the sun, which helps them to make vitamin D. They do not have to spend much for food.

Attendance:

This method does not require much time or people to take care of the chickens. Even then, there are some things to keep in mind: In the morning, open the chicken coop and give some food. In the evening, before the hens go home, they have to give some food again. When you get up, you have to close the door.
