Orange colour is named after the apearance of a ripe orange fruit.

Before now the colour was reffered to yellow-red. Orange symbolizes energy, excitement, warmth and good health.
It is very true that orange colour symbolizes good health. Orange colour fruit and vegetables contains high vitamin C, vitamin A and antioxidants which helps to maintain a healthy heart and eyes. Vitamin C also increases the immune functions, this is the reason they are beneficial during the early stages of a cold or flu.
