I’ve been caught up with stuff about school so I wasn’t able post my contest I’m very sorry about that .
I’m in the person of Wahab Mohammed Mustapha, I’m from tamale in the Northern part of Ghana.
Tamale is the capital of Northern region of Ghana,it is considered the fastest Developing city in west Africa with weather 32°C, Wind SW at 10 km/h, 50% Humidity and population 950,124 according to the Tamale Metropolitan Assembly Official Website.
Actually there are a lot of nice places that people like to visit in Tamale but what most people like to visit are the popular places or places with history . If my friends ever want to visit Tamale I recommend them to go to the following.
The Tamale airport:
The Tamale airport is known in history to be founded as operational base for troops during the World War II.The Government of the first republic of this country agreed to a plan to construct an Airport to serve the military 11 miles north of Tamale on realizing its strategic importance. There’s an ongoing project on the Phase two airport as effort to improve, domestic activities.

The Tamale teaching hospital is the third largest hospital in Ghana ,it serves a a referral hospital for the theee Northern regions. The hospital was established in 1974 and it was formally known as the Tamale regional hospital .

The Tamale sports stadium Now Ali Mahama sports named after former Vice President , its mostly used for football and also for hosting events , the stadium has a capacity of 20,000 , completed in 2008 by Shanghai construction group.

The Tamale Central mosque is one of the most popular mosques in Ghana, it is a four storey building , built mostly for Jummah prayers on Friday .
