Hello dear friends of Steemit, I am very pleased to participate in this beautiful and fun contest because, who has not brought a seashell on their visit to the beach. I'm sure most of us have.

Hola queridos amigos de Steemit, me complace mucho participar en este bonito y divertido concurso porque, quién no se ha traído alguna vez una concha de mar en su visita a la playa. Estoy segura que la mayoría lo hemos hecho.

Whether to give as a gift, or simply as a souvenir of a beautiful place, seashells are ideal: small, easy to carry and identify, because when you see them it is obvious that they were brought from the sand or the sea.
These shells are souvenirs from a beach called Adícora, in Falcón, Venezuela.
Ya sea para regalar, o simplemente como souvenir de un lugar hermoso, las conchas de mar son ideales: pequeñas, fáciles de cargar e identificar, pues al verla es obvio que fue traída de la arena o el mar.
Estas conchitas son souvenirs de una playa llamada Adícora, en Falcón, Venezuela.
The first photo is a pair of shells, very similar, one could even say that they are sisters. I found them together, in the sand, and thought I'd take them to my mom and dad. One for each.
La primera foto son un par de conchas, muy parecidas, hasta podría decirse que son hermanas. Las encontré juntas, en la arena, y pensé llevárselas a mi mamá y papá. Una para cada uno.
In the second photo there are several shells, some smaller than others and glued together, with the aim of forming a kind of mini altar. Inside the largest shell is a glued image of the Virgen del Valle, lawyer of the sailors. On Venezuelan beaches it is common to see this image in different articles, since the devotion that the locals have and transmit through their original creations is great.
En la segunda foto se encuentran varias conchas, unas más pequeñas que otras y pegadas entre sí, con el objetivo de formar una especie de mini altar. Dentro de la concha más grande se encuentra una imagen pegada de la Virgen del Valle, abogada de los marineros. En las playas venezolanas es común ver esta imagen en diferentes artículos, pues es grande la devoción que los lugareños tienen y transmiten a través de sus originales creaciones.
I hope these photographs and their descriptions have been entertaining and interesting. I confess that I haven't been able to go to the beach for several years, I would like to go soon and maybe look for more shells, lots of shells to adorn my nightstand.
Espero les haya sido entretenido e interesante estas fotografías y sus descripciones. Confieso que tengo varios años sin poder ir a la playa, quisiera ir pronto y quizás buscar más conchitas, muchas conchas que adornen mi mesa de noche.
