THE DIARY GAME : 18.08.21 - DAY OF ASHURA - “The day of Ashura is the day of remembering victory of truth over falsehood, fasting, repentance and doing good deeds.”

Today in Mauritius the Muslim Community celebrated Ashura and I have the pleasure to share with you how my tea time table was for this joyful day!

But before that, let me wish everyone from the Muslim community :

“May all the praises and thanks be to Allah. To whom belongs all that is in heavens & in the Earth. Have a blessed Muharram!”

Below is my tea time table earlier which forms part of my way of celebrating this day!

The 2 cookies that I made earlier this week...

I made these yummy cookies in advance while my aunty brought the mixed nuts and dried fruits...

This is the mixed nuts and dried fruits bowl...

Nuts inside : Almond / Pistachio / Walnut / Peanut / Cashewnut
Dried Fruits : Dates / Peach

This is so yummy to munch on...

Butter Croissant and Pain Au Chocolate were also present today...

All accompanied with my favorite tea...Moroccan Mint Tea!

We also had some special food for diner....but i'll write on it some other day for not mixing things up!
