Contest -"Object of the Week-Ring" Entry

The ring is not mine, but the happiness of hers is my own.

This is my cousin's engagement ring to her second husband.Back then when she's in her first marriage, She asked and cried to our grandmother when she wanted to divorced her first husband because of his attitude to her brother who has autism.He doesn't want to allow, John to enter their house and possibly he did a lot of negative things so my cousin finally decided to have a divorce.At first my grandmother is against it because they are pretty traditional and conservative.Divorce is also not a thing here in our country, even up until now divorce is not yet passed as a law though they didn't marry here so its not a problem.

Then after sometime,Her first boyfriend and her got back together.Even her friends are talking about the fact that they are gonna end up with each other in the end.I think The theme of the engagement and the wedding suits their love story.As her husband is her solitude now.Like the sea, where we always long to hang.Fresh air and free to walk and think about things.Free from pretensions.As how a healthy marriage should be.

I guess second chance is not a bad thing.

She brought the photo album of her second wedding here, and left it for our grandmother cause she was not able to attend it and she died.Good thing, she was able to give her blessing to my cousin.
