Wax ivy or Hoya is a shade-loving plant that grows in our house in a country house in a village outside the city. Ivy has been growing in our country for a long time - more than 20 years and it grows because it is very unpretentious, but it grows only on the northern side of the house.

Ivy grows mostly vertically on high windows, and flowers and branches, as seen in the photo, hang down. Hoye's flowers are very strong-smelling, and the aroma is sweet. Someone likes it, but some don't. And the flowers of this ivy are like plastic ones - that's what I call them.

At the same time, ivy or Hoya is of different types in nature and can differ depending on the type of plant. Once I watched a video about this ivy, so there, as it turned out, there are many species of this plant, more than ten - that's for sure. The flower does not require special care.

In the evenings, the scent of flowers spreads throughout the great hall in the house. I personally like this smell very much, it perfectly complements the aromas of other flowers in the house. Sometimes there is no problem that if you forgot to water the flower with water, it will survive it well.

The most important thing here is that the flower does not stand on the sunny and southern side of the house. And in the shade on the north side, ivy does very well, even if you haven't watered it for 2 or 3 weeks. But it is advisable not to forget and water this wonderful and beautiful flower.

And a note to all lovers of home flowers. A very important point, I think, as soon as the flowering of Hoya begins, it is absolutely impossible to move this flower or change its position on the same window, the plant will immediately drop all flowers. And this is still very bad for the Garden of Eden.

As an example - in our country it has already grown to almost 2 meters, but then we had to seat him, which turned out to be bad for him. One flower remained, and the ivy died in the other two pots, did not grow. The leaves of ivy are the same as waxy and hard, dark green in color.

And the inflorescence of the flower itself is like a curved umbrella and looks like a plastic one. There are many flowers and they are all like stars, and they bloom like a garland one after another, gradually rising up. The lower flowers always bloom first. The flower itself is pink, and inside the center there is always a brighter brown, beige or reddish color. I don't know how and with whom ivy blooms, but here it blooms two, and sometimes three times a year. But in the spring, Hoya always blooms. If it is cold on the window or there is a draft, then in the near future ivy will die in this place - that's for sure. This was my photo reportage.
