Greetings steemian friends!

May we all be facing positivity in life and continue to be merry even in this time of pandemic.

I would like to give special thanks and congratulate to @olesia and @soulwind for another success of this "kids of the world" contest and another mark of new wonderful week.

Sharing you today a simple story of my son on how he helped me in cooking shrimp soup today.

Since today's weather here in the Philippines is rainy, so I decided to cook shrimp soup with moringa leaves. I asked him if he could help me get the leaves as I saw him playing outside the house. He immediately got some leaves which is accessible the him. I told him to wash the leaves and grind those.

I thought he would not do it because he was enjoying his playtime but he happily did it on his own. That is why I immediately took a picture of him, he smiled and asked me why. After a while, I was surprised when he called me that he was done grinding those leaves.

It makes me proud as a mother seeing my kids grow well. Although in his little gesture of helping I believe it starts how he understood the desire and the value of doing good deeds to others.

So that's how my story goes.
