Hello my fellow Steemians!

Hope you all are doing good with your daily schedules. I decided to participate to the contest of “Games and Toys”, coz as a mom to a twelve months old baby, I do believe that I have a good understanding about the toys of babies and toddlers. Ergo, here is my entry to this lovely contest.

Initially, I would like to give my kind gratitude to @strecoza for organizing such a cheerful and alluring contest. Without any doubt, we all love to be with kids. As same as we all are delighted to play with their adorable toys, even though we are adults. Therefore, I do highly admit that, this contest will definitely give compelling experience to all the adults who will be joined with this.

The very first toy I gave to my little girl was monochrome cards made by me. Monochrome cards are the images from black and white. A newborn can see only black and white until two months. Hence, my girl; Yohana used them throughout her first two months.

Thereafter, I gave her multi colored toys to improve her vision. After two months, babies will gradually develop their sense to see colorful items. Below are some toys I gave her when she completed her first two months.

Babies love to hear different sounds and music. I gave some rattles to her which generates different sounds when they are shaking. Yohana allured to hear their sounds by shaking them.

Her next toy is Crinkle taggie blanket with different textures. I made this by myself for her by using minimum things. What I need for this was, a paper with crinkle sound, colorful pieces of clothes and some colorful buttons. Yohana loves to play with this, because of its crinkle sound.

Baby bouncer is one of a favorite toy of Yohana, when she was four months old. She loves to lay on it and to bounce rhythmically while listening to its pleasant melodies.

When she can sit properly, she loved to play with her wooden toys. She has a lots of wooden toys like knob puzzles of shape, wooden rainbow tower, shape sorter and geometric four columns.

Yohana loves to play with her building blocks and she tries to fix two blocks together and many times she managed to do it.

Yohana used her baby stroller since she was three months. What her favorite is to go rides from it.

When she completed seven months we introduced her baby walker and she is so delighted to walk using it.

As she has many toys, determined to build a toy storing shelf to store her toys neatly. Furthermore, we never forget to change her toys in the shelf once a week. From it, she was able to play with all toys and by meeting new toys once a week, her desire to play was enhanced.

I never forget to give beautifully illustrated board books to her at her play time. Luckily she loves to turn pages of them and watch colorful illustration on it.
