A famous creation of A famous Bengali writer Manik Bandopadhyay. And the picture shows literally one of the boatmen of The River Padma . It was captured from Sara River Ghat, Ishwardi,Pabna.

Life of boatmen is closely realted with fishing. It's a very common occupation in the rural areas of Bangladesh. As Bangladesh a riverine country it has huge wetlands. So the common people do fishing for their livelihood. Here is the view of that.

Boats are important way of Transportation. As Bangladesh contains many waters people use boats to move from place to place . Here are two boats are adjusted with a bamboo deck for using as a transportation vehicle. This was picture was taken from Joypurhat.
