Contest : Tell us about Your Favourite Foods (Hydrabadi Biriyani)

This is the 1st post in this community I wish you all suport me. I am really happy to joining this contest.

Hyderabadi biryani' is one of the favorite dishes. Although I never made the food at home. When I miss this meal I go to the restaurant. But cooking this dish as far as I can was not captured on camera that day.

Ingredients:

  1. Basmati rice
  2. Khasir or beef
  3. Yogurt
  4. Onion
  5. Cinnamon
  6. Clove
  7. Cardamom
  8. Bay leaves
  9. Nutmeg
  10. Kalojira / (Shahi Jira)

11.Jaitri, Lemon and saffron.

Coriander leaves and fried onions are used to garnish food. The main dish is made with red meat (khasi / beef).

*I have taken 1 kg of mutton or mutton but it can also be done with beef. To marinate the meat, I used one cup of sour curd, one tablespoon garlic paste, 1.5 tablespoons ginger paste, 1 teaspoon red chilli powder, 1 tablespoon fried cumin powder, 1 tablespoon coriander powder, 1 Teaspoon hot spice powder. All the previous hot spices and more like 1 cup of pre-prepared onion barista or fried onion and a little saffron to bring nice color and taste to the meat.

Salt to taste, 2/3 cup soybean oil. Now all the mixture should be spread well together. Once smeared, it should be left in the fridge for marinating for two to three hours.

  • This time I will process the biryani rice. I have taken 1 kg of basmati rice. Basmati rice is usually used in Hyderabadi biryani but you can use any fragrant polao rice if you want. Soak the rice in adequate amount of water at normal temperature for half an hour. In a large bowl with enough water for rice, add four green cardamoms, two pieces of cinnamon and wait until it gets hot.

Put a spoonful of the biryani in the pan in which I will cook the biryani and put it around very well and then pour the grated meat.
Spread the meat on top of the meat with whole oil and spices. Then spread the meat by hand in such a way that there is meat in each part of the pot. No part of the pot is left empty. I sprinkled the meat on top and kept it ready for cooking.

  • On the other hand, boil the water in the oven, add enough salt and one tablespoon of soybean oil for the rice. In order to boil, you must pay for the cultivation in boiling water. Keep in mind that the medium will be in the hand at the stage of burning the oven and here I am adding half a tablespoon of lemon with the amount of lemon juice.

*Now take the dough like bread and cut it with the lid so that no air can come out from inside and the flame of the stove will be in medium. After 30/45 minutes later you can see the biriyani was ready for eat. Its so delicious..
