Hello friends how are you? This time I come to talk about a plant which we call "bad mother" a very original name hahaha, because this is because her offspring or "children" are formed in their stalks, and she does as she throws them to the ground. And from there people coined that name.

The bad mother 😆 is simply a beautiful succulent (kalanchoe) that on the edge her 🍃 sprout her little children and where they fall there they will grow.

It is a very hardy plant and having it exposed to the sun acquires those orange hues that make them look beautiful.

The only recommendation if you are going to have it among your collection keep it all in one pot, if their children fall on other plants will grow along with them (it is totally invasive 🤣) .

The "bad mother" plant🍃 is good for health since it is used in infusions to treat rhinitis, its leaves are heated and used to treat migraines, lumbar pain, menstrual pain, eliminates ovarian cysts and even has anticancer properties.

For external use: crushed leaves as a poultice, compress or plaster; juice of the leaves with oil or petroleum jelly to use as an ointment. Used in this way, the plant is anti-inflammatory, antihemorrhagic, astringent and healing.

🍃After knowing this wonderful plant with a very derogatory name but in the end it is only a name.
Observing her well I believe that she is not a bad mother, because she sustains each little leaf that sprouts until the time it is required and when they fall from the mother, they grow and another new plant is born. And as a metaphor we should all at some point be Bad Mothers and cut that umbilical cord so that our children grow, develop, become independent and autonomous.
