So happy to be here in the Steem For Bangladesh community. Here I will participate in the Steemit Engagement Challenge S15W1 with a very interesting topic ”The Wonder of Science”.

Science plays a major role in the progress of the modern world. With its extraordinary contributions, science shapes technologies, medicines and devices that improve the quality of our lives. In all aspects of life, from communications to health, science continues to be a driver of change and awe-inspiring wonder.

Science plays a central role in the development of human civilization. By providing research methodologies, science enables a deep understanding of nature and technology. Innovations in science have brought revolutions in health, technology and the environment. Scientific discoveries such as vaccines, electricity, and modern communications have drastically improved the quality of human life.
Although science brings benefits, it needs to be balanced with ethics and environmental considerations. Therefore, although science helped build great civilizations, it is important to ensure that this development is aligned with humanity's sustainability and collective well-being.
How do you think our lives would be if there was no science? |

Without science, we will lose the foundation for innovation and deep understanding of nature. Human health will not advance, diseases cannot be treated effectively, and technology will not develop. We are losing our understanding of the weather, the environment, and natural resources.
Without science, the world would be trapped in uncertainty, without the guidance that the scientific method provides. Important discoveries such as vaccines, communications technology and renewable energy will not exist. Science is a pillar of modern civilization, and losing it will hinder our progress in understanding and improving everyday life.
If you could ask a famous scientist one question, who would it be, and what would you ask? |

I might choose Neil deGrasse Tyson. My questions will relate to his vision of how to increase scientific literacy among the general public. I wanted to know what concrete strategies he could suggest to bridge the gap in scientific understanding amidst rapid technological developments.

One of the amazing scientific discoveries that changed our lives is the Internet. By enabling instant access to global information, the internet expands communication and opens the door to global collaboration. Then, medical technology such as magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) has changed the paradigm in disease diagnosis by providing detailed images of body structure.
Additionally, developments in battery technology, especially lithium-ion batteries, have revolutionized portable electronic devices and electric cars, providing convenience and mobility without leaving a significant carbon footprint. These innovations prove how scientific discoveries can significantly simplify our lives, shaping a connected and efficient modern world.
