Hello, good morning how was your day today is very exciting because it involves crafts craft is one of the easiest handmade that you can use to have fun with will use the mango leaf for an airplane we use the palm tree leaves for a hand watch then we Ganga leave to make legs and hand beats for dancing in our cultural day and Festival, also I can make watch out of it,

many of our youth learn it during our craft day in school, I will be showing you the steps on how we do it all you need to do is to follow it gradually and you will arrive at the same result as mine I want to appreciate the community for this wonderful contest of craft, may the Lord grant us more wisdom as learn

✅ Have to share step-by-step the method of making leaf craft.

Firstly went to my Ganga tree to the leaf I will be using, using the knife because it can be hard to remove with my hand and I need the soft one to give me the results am looking for

Materials needed

Step 1:

I picked the leaf and divided it with my scissors then I use one side I fold it pressing it with my big finger

Step 2:

I make a cough with the leaf back inside the hole

Step 3 :

I turned the long leave down pressing the upside with my big finger still

Step 4 :

I put some stones inside because they will be needed during the dance it gives you an extra sound, aside from the drum, while I still hold the downside with my hands

Step 5:

I close the stone hole with the same long leave by sending it inside the tiny hole.

Step 6 :

Finally, I cut the long robe remaining, then my dancing beats are ready I use the tiny rope from the same leaf to join them together for my lag use and hand

I choose the Ganga leave because it's strong and it last longer it can stay more than 2 years without getting spoiled and you can still use it

✅ Which craft do you find easier, paper craft or leaf craft? why?

Even though handcrafted is the easiest one because it doesn't require much material Just scissors for cutting from the beginning then you can continue with your bare hand but the papercraft is a bit hard even do we use it to make boots airplanes and many other things that we play with when are kids, the process is also hard and it requires a lot of attention to come up with it so I prefer the leaf craft because it's easier
