This festival is usually celebrated on 12 Rabi Awal. To honour and also remember your great prophet for his sacrifices. That is a very great honour. And this festival is the backbone of every other festival, so on this special day, enough of food are prepared. People come together to celebrate and make merry and forget about whatever differences they had in the past. This festival would unites families, friends and aquintance.
