SEC-S6W6 : "About your relationship with your loved one."

Welcome to my blog today. This is my first participation in this week's engagement challenge. I'm delighted to start this week's contest in this community. Today I want to share my opinion on the topic "About your relationship with your loved one". Without further ado, let's get started.

Love and affection can be expressed in different ways by different people in a relationship. In my case, we express love and affection by communicating with each other regularly and also sharing gifts and even studying together.

I was opportune to meet a very unique person during my undergraduate days at the university and we started a relationship. In this relationship, we read together and also advice and talk to each other. More also, we buy gifts for each other and that goes a long way to strengthening the relationship as well.

So in essence, what we do to express love and affection is been together and catching fun, calling each other, reading together and also fellowshipping together. This thing goes a long way to help our relationship.

We had a lot of favourite moments and a few of the memories we had together is holding a seminar for the steemit platform in school. My loved one is @yakspeace and while in school, we both came together and organised a seminar for the steemit platform. That experience was indeed very fun.

Another moment we had together is the period we shared during our last papers at the university. It was indeed a very joyful day because we were so excited that we have finally finished the struggle. There are many more times we spent together that are memorable and that will be shared next time.

Indeed, in any relationship where you don't get to learn anything from your partner, the relationship is not worth staying in. In my relationship with @yakspeace, I have learnt to be patient and also more dedicated to whatever I'm doing.

Most times we have disagreements but the way she handles the entire situation will be as though we have never had issues before. I recall many times after an argument, I will refuse to lick her calls but she will go out of her way to look for me and even prepare my favourite even when I'm the cause of the problem.

After the situation has calmed down, she will softly talk to me and say what I did is not proper and please I shouldn't do it again. She has a forgiven spirit and doesn't like to hold grudges in her heart. Indeed she has a beautiful mind when it comes to handling disagreements.

We are currently far apart since we finished the undergraduate program at the university but in other to keep the spark alive in the relationship we call and chat with each other every day. Most times we also make video calls to see each other and that has helped to keep the spark in the relationship.

As I have said earlier in the paragraph above, we are very far apart from each other and have not seen each other for about a year and 7 months now but we always talk and chat with each other every day. So the meaningful ways we connect is via phone call, video call and even reading each other's posts on the platform.

We all trust each other and we try to communicate daily to keep the spark burning. We make video calls to see each other and also join in general meetings by the Nigerian steemian groups almost once every month. This helps us greatly to keep the communication and make us not feel the absence of each other.

Relationships are kept sparkling through communication. In my case, I have been apart from my friend for about a year and seven months today but in all of these, we still call and chat with each other every day. This helps to keep the relationship going.
