I hope you are well. Alhamdulillah I am fine. I am always fascinated by nature. And if it is flowers, then no words; I love flowers from the bottom of my heart, and this post is for flower lovers like me.

Today I will share with you the story of marigold flowers.

A bunch of marigolds

The scientific name of marigolds is Tagetes Electra. Marigold flowers' color, smell, and shape are different depending on the variety. Mainly marigolds are available in the winter season. They are born in the cold of winter. Marigolds raise their heads through the white veil of fog to announce their presence. Bhramar - Bees and butterflies are rushing to visit the flowers.

I live in the kingdom of flowers

Many people in Bangladesh call marigold flowers marigolds or marigold flowers. Although there are different varieties or colors of marigold flowers, bright yellow and dark orange colors are more common. Marigold flowers enhance the beauty of the garden, and also this flower is essential for various events, pujas, and home decorations.

A Marigold is a perennial plant. There are about 56 species of marigolds in the world. Especially this flowering plant grows in Mexico. However, the native habitat of this tree is North and South America. Some species grow throughout the warmer regions of the world. 3-4 species are available in our country.

• African marigold:
  The native name of this flower is marigold, and the scientific name is Tagetes erecta. The flowers of this category are yellow, and this plant is enormous. Some notable varieties of this breed are Inca, Man the Moon, Yella Supreme, Guinea Gold, Gold Smith, etc.

African marigold

• French marigold:
  The native name of the French marigold is Kaligada, and its scientific name is Tagetes patula. The marigold flowers of this category are orange and yellow, called blood marigolds. Trees of this class are small in size. Some of the varieties worth mentioning of this flower are Legion of Honor Harmony, Marietta, etc.

French marigold

• Small marigold:
  The scientific name of this flower is Tagetes Lucida. The small marigold plant was originally native to Mexico in North America. The height of this plant is 46.76 cm, and it is bushy.

The color of this flower is yellow, but the petals are not thick. A Marigold is a fragrant flower. These flowering plants are found everywhere. It is a winter flower, but nowadays, it is cultivated, and hence it is available in summer and monsoon.

Marigold flowers are used as herbal medicine. Below are some of its benefits👇:

• Regular marigold tea smooths the skin, removes facial acne, improves digestion, and removes gastric problems.

• If there is a cut somewhere on the body, the juice of the marigold leaves is crushed, and the wound is removed.

• Various perfumes are made from marigold flowers for their fragrance.

• The anti-oxidants of marigold flowers help increase the immune system and protect the body from tumors.

• Grind marigold flower and mix it with oil and use it regularly on the head to get rid of dandruff.

• Brushing the teeth with the ash of dried marigold flowers strengthens the roots of the teeth and removes bad breath.

• The juice of this leaf is very effective as a fungicide in addition to ear infections.
