Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Abarakatuhu. I hope everyone is well. I like to travel very much. I travel with my family whenever I have time. Because living in this brick-and-stone city, our life has become very mechanical. Just as we have to take care of the physical aspect to be healthy, we should also give importance to the mental aspect. And if you can realize yourself in the beautiful natural environment of this city of bricks and stones, you will see that your mind will be better. So today, I will tell you the story of my beautiful trip as if to cheer you up. This is not just my travel; here I will give you some vital information about my sightseeing. I hope everyone likes it.

I visited Ramu, an Upazila, in Cox's Bazar district of Bangladesh, a few days ago. Although I have been to Cox's Bazar many times, I have never been to Ramu. So, we decided to visit Ramu after visiting Cox's Bazar this time. Although everyone knows about Ramu as a citizen of Bangladesh, I still present a brief introduction of Ramu to you.

Ramu

Ramu has located 25 km from Cox's Bazar district headquarters of the Chittagong division. Ramu was formed as Thana in 1908, and then in 1983, Thana was converted into Upazila. Ramu Upazila currently consists of 11 Unions. Cox's Bazar is of Buddhist antiquity. Ramu Ramyabhoomi Ramu has a unique identity as a city. There are 27 ancient Buddhist temples or changes made of exquisite craftsmanship in Ramut alone. Ramu has been well known throughout the country since long ago because of the many old Buddhist monasteries made of wood. Not only the Buddhist Vihara, but Ramu also has Rubber Gardens, Ramkot Shrine enshrined in the memory of Ramsita, Coconut Gardens, Ramu Maitri Vihar, Ramu Central Seema Mahavihar, Usaichen (Rakhine) Ramu Big Kang, etc.

How to go:
Cox's Bazar is well connected by road or air from Dhaka or Chittagong. My family and I first left for Cox's Bazar from Dhaka. Our bus left Dhaka for Cox's Bazar at 11 PM, and we reached Cox's Bazar, Kalatali, at 7 AM. Our hotel room was pre-booked, so we checked into the hotel directly. After some rest and breakfast, we left for Ramu. We first hire an autorickshaw for the whole day from Kalatali stand in Cox's Bazar city. As he is a local, I ask the driver to take me to the places of interest in Ramu. Then we all left for Ramu. We may have yet to be able to visit all the areas due to lack of time, but I have presented some vital information to you along with the pictures of all the places I have stayed in Ramu.

• Ramu Maitri Vihar or 100 feet Buddha statue :
  We first went to see the 100 feet tall Gautam Buddha statue lying north-south in a piece of greenery on top of a hill surrounded by extraordinary beauty. The beautiful Niman style of the Vihar is attractive, as well as the beautiful courtyards of the Vihar. That pearl is newly adorned in such outstanding beauty. It is said that this Vimukti Vidarshan Bhavana Kendra has added a new dimension to the Buddhist tradition of Ramu.

• Usaichen Rakhine Buddhist Monastery (Big Kang) :
  Usaichen Rakhine Buddhist Monastery The oldest temple in Ramu is Usaichen (Rakhine) Ramu Bara Kang or Vihar. In this temple, we also saw thousands of years old idols. So, it is one of the oldest Buddhist antiquities.

• Kendriya Seema Vihar
  Kendriya Seema Vihar was formed in 1707. Most of the antiquities here are very beautiful. The eyes were dazzled by the beautiful display inside the temple.

• Ramu Central Buddhist Youth Council :
  Next, we visit the Ramu Central Buddhist Youth Council. The Parishad supports various social activities of Ramu Upazila. We call Ramu Central Buddhist Youth Council everywhere.

• Ramu Rubber Garden :
  Ramu Rubber Garden consists of hills and plains in Ramu Upazila. Around 1960-61, rubber cultivation was first started in Ramu through research on uncultivated land with the assistance of the Bangladesh Forestry Development Corporation. Ramu Rubber Plantation has been developed, covering an area of about 2,682 acres. About two and a half lakh kg of rubber is produced from these trees in the rubber garden, which helps a lot in the economic development of Bangladesh.

Location
I got to know a lot of important information while visiting here. Finally, we all rested for a while after eating and drinking. We enjoyed some beautiful moments and then left for Cox's Bazar Hotel.
