Celebration of 16th December of Bangladesh as victory Day

Dear steemians,
Take greeting of victory day. Hope all are well by the mercy of Almighty Allah. I am well.I want to tell you that today is the victory day of our country. I am going to tell you how the people of our country celebrated the day of our victory.

At the beginning of the day, the prime minister and the president first placed floral wrath at the National Monument. Then political leaders and various institutions and the common people went to National monument to place floral Wrath to show the respect of the martyrs who laid down their for independence of the country. We went there aslo to remember of their Supreme sacrifices. After a nine month bloody war we got our freedom.Bangladesh was born as a country.

In our District, Dc sir and MP first placed floral wrath. After floral wrath, we went to enjoy a function which is organised by our DC at the Gor-a-Shahid-maydan. The function started with gun shot.

There organised a display.Various schools, Colleges and governmental and non-governmental institutions took part in the display.I saw many little boy bought Nation flag and others saw, they sold child toys.

After finishing display, there organised a discussion session. The DC sir was the chief guest in the discussion. The DC sir delivered his speech first.Then the political leaders and various institutions head delivered aslo.After that a cultural programme organised aslo.The students and other people took part in this programme. I watched a drama about the independence and victory of our country. Watching the drama, I came to know the real history of our country and the contribution of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

In conclusion, I feel proud as a citizen of a Independence country. We can not deny their heroic sacrifice of the martyrs of our country.I think we should always remember because they are the heroic sons of our country.
