Savory appetizers are all light foods that are served before the main course. They are usually slightly salty, spicy, or spicy in taste, which helps to increase the taste of the mouth. The main purpose of serving these light foods before the main course is to prepare the guests for the main course and to further awaken their appetite.
🔺Dips and spreads: For example - hummus, guacamole or cheese dip, which is usually eaten with bread, crackers or vegetables.
🔺Small meat or fish items: For example - chicken wings, meatballs, or small fish cutlets.
🔺Vegetable items: For example - vegetable spring rolls, stuffed mushrooms or piaju.
🔺Different types of rolls or parcels: For example - samosa, chicken roll or cheese roll.
🔺Dim Sum: Chinese food, which consists of small pastries made of meat, vegetables or seafood.
🔺Satay: Pieces of meat or fish prepared on a stick.
These dishes are usually light, so that the stomach does not fill up before the main course. That is why savory appetizers are served first in any event or restaurant to increase our appetite.

First, I will wash the capsicum, tomato and onion well. Then I will cut them into bite-sized pieces.
Now, I will marinate the chicken with all the spices such as chili powder, cumin powder, black pepper, cinnamon-cardamom powder, ginger-garlic paste, tomato sauce, soya sauce, vinegar and enough salt.
Once marinated, I will add the pre-cut capsicum, tomato and onion. Then I will mix them together again and marinate them, once marinated, I will leave them like this for 10 minutes.
Now I will insert the vegetables and chicken pieces into the wooden sticks. I have arranged each stick in such a way that they look very attractive and taste very delicious.
Now I will put a pan on the stove and add a little soybean oil to it. Once the oil is slightly hot, I will add the chicken sticks I have made, the flame on the stove will be on medium so that the chicken pieces are cooked well.
I will fry the chicken sticks well from side to side. When I see that they are properly fried, I will put them in a bowl. I will fry all the chicken sticks in the same way.
Now I will arrange the sticks of each appetizer in a small glass tray. And I have also given a note with my name written on it.
My savory appetizer is finished, now I will take a selfie with the appetizer I have made.
Savory appetizers are savory, salty, spicy and delicious foods that are served before our main course. Their main purpose is to increase interest in the main course. I am mentioning some types of savory appetizers below which are very popular among everyone. 🔺Mini Samosas : A crispy pastry filled with spicy potatoes, beans or meat. 🔺Shrimp Cocktail : A delicious dish of cold shrimp served with a sour dipping sauce. 🔺Stuffed Mushrooms : Mushrooms filled with cheese, garlic and herbs, which are very tasty. 🔺Mini Meatballs : A delicious dish filled with chili or tomato sauce and glazed with toothpicks. 🔺Spring Rolls : A delicious dish filled with vegetables or meat, which is served with a dipping sauce. 🔺Chicken or Beef Skewers : A delicious dish fried with spices or marinade. 🔺Brushetta : A type of bread fried with tomatoes, garlic, basil and olive oil. 🔺Quesadilla (mini triangle) : A delicious dish filled with cheese, beans or chicken that is delicious in every bite.
The right serving size for appetizers depends on whether the food will be served as a snack or instead of a full meal. For appetizers, plan on 3-5 pieces per person, but if appetizers are the only course, aim for 8-12 pieces per person. Consider the length of the event and the dietary habits of your guests, as longer events or more substantial items may require more food.
