Science has played a crucial role in building great civilizations in numerous ways; science has advanced our understanding of the natural world, and with science, we can create languages. Communication is the greatest advantage we humans have over other mammals. It is easy to communicate our ideas and plan and prioritize things for unseen and seen eventualities.

Science has led to technological innovations that have improved the standards of living today. Being able to create wheels that have served purposes in today's world. When we look around us, we see different technologies science has brought. I guess you know how telephone and electricity changed our lives, so much so that we can't imagine life without them. Science brought civilization to us as we no longer live in the caves and hunt everyday for survival.

How do you think our lives would be if there was no science?

Without science, there would be no electricity, no proper communication, no entertainment, and no growth. We would still be living in the caves, hunting for food, using leaves for clothes, and eating some raw food. Life would have been a disaster without science.

If we lose all the science benefits, our lives will be drastically different. There won't be proper medication, and diseases that are so commonly treated with antibiotics will become deadly again. There won't be the ability to perform surgery or have organ transplants, which means we'll have massive deaths every day.

Without science, no electricity or any technology at all. This means no light, everywhere would be total darkness, no ironing of clothes, no refrigerator, and no television. We would have to rely on manual labor for everything, oh without science it would be a big mess for us.

If you could ask a famous scientist one question, who would it be, and what would you ask?

It would be Ade Lovelace She is known as the world's first computer programmer. It means she knows everything about computers, their origin, and other computer activities.

She discovered the computer was going to be helpful to humans, and our growth computer was helpful in development.

Here's my question "How did the thought of the computer come to you? And what exactly were you doing, on the day these thoughts about computers came to you?"

• Antibiotics: These are powerful drugs that kill diseases and germs in our body when we fall ill. The discovery of these antibiotics made life easy for us. We can easily take them when we feel sick and after a while, we are fine. Science made life easy for us through this drug.

• Electricity: This has been proven to be the most effective scientific discovery that made life easy. Imagine a world without electricity, it would be total darkness. Electricity brought light, progress, and growth to our lives. We virtually carry out our activities today with the use of electricity. I can iron out my clothes and look good for the day. I can cook with the use of electricity, it would have been firewood if there was no electricity. But thanks to science.

• Internet: The Internet has become a life-saving means of communication. The average man today operates the internet for one business or the other. Through the Internet, we could reach out to people without having to write letters that would take some days to deliver. Communication is made easy with the use of the internet
