Yam is one of my most favorite food, I love everything about it. I also like the fact that it can be prepared using different methods. Yam Porridge is one instant food that boosts my mood anytime I eat it.

Yam is a rich source of Carbohydrate which gives energy and strength.
Yam also contains dietary fiber which helps in bowel movement.
Yam also contains anti-inflammatory agents which helps to reduce ailment like allergies.
✅ What is the process for making it? (share the steps ) |

I will start with listing the ingredients.
- Yam
- Red oil
- Seasoning cubes
- Salt
- Crayfish
- Onions

Procedure for it's preparations |

Peel and wash the yam.
Cut it into tiny cubes.
- Put it in the pot, then add enough water to it, then cook it.
- Grind the Crayfish and onions with the aid of a mortar and pestle.
- When the yam boils, add palmoil, grinded crayfish and onions to it.
Add seasoning cubes and salt to taste.
Cook for a while.
When the yam is tender enough and the porridge is thick taste for salt, stir then turn off the heat.

Most times I usually have my ingredients at home because we buy in bulk, but if the ingredients is not at home I will go to the market to buy it and prepare it because I don't like eating out.
