We will export the ship recovery halon gas cylinders to New York at the beginning of next month, and the order agreement with our client has already been completed. But since the item we are going to export is explosive, we have to get a certificate from the government's environment department, for which I have to go to the capital city of Dhaka.

I left for our capital city, Dhaka, at midnight from our nearest bus station. After a journey of about six hours, I reached the capital city at 6 a.m in the morning and checked in at the Farmgate Hotel there. Although I felt a little tired from the overnight journey, I had no time to rest. I was offered breakfast at their restaurant on the ground floor of the hotel.

I checked into the hotel for one day. The full cost of one day was two and a half thousand bdt/23.50 Usd. After breakfast, I left without delay for the Environment Department with all my important documents.

For the first time, I got the opportunity to visit all the important government offices in Bangladesh. I was very excited because I am going to meet one of the top ten secretaries of Bangladesh today.

I reached the Department of Environmentaround 11 o'clock in the morning. I went here and showed my appointment letter, and an officer told me to go to the 5th floor and wait. I was very surprised that I was escorted with full security and protocol to where the secretary's office is.

After entering the secretary's office, I had to wait for quite some time as he was talking to other people. As I was waiting for a long time, I was offered tea there. It is also a privilege to come and have tea at the top-level government office of our country. Finally, my call came, and I entered the cabin of the Honorable Secretary to meet him.

He checked my documents and inquired about the progress of our items. I informed him about all the details of our shipment and showed him our invoice and purchase order. As gas is an explosive item, I have to get approval for the shipment from the Department of Environment. I was given an application form.

The criteria of the form was that it should be completely typed and submitted through a computer. So I came down from the building and went to a nearby cybercafé. I completed the application form and photocopied the rest of the documents. I completed the application form and pay payment of 70 BDT/0.66 USD at the cyber cafe.

After that, I again went to the secretary's office and submitted my form and all the documents to the senior officer there. It took about 3:30 to complete all the work. So I went to a nearby eatery to have lunch. And I ordered a beef khichuri for myself, and the cost of the meal was 100 BDT/0.94 USD.

Since I had to travel about four hundred and fifty kilometers to return home, I checked out of the hotel without delay and headed towards the bus stand. As soon as I went there, I got my Chittagong bus ticket. The bus started at exactly six o'clock.

Since Dhaka to Chittagong is a very long way, a 20-minute journey break was given at a restaurant in Comilla for the convenience of passengers after half way. It was around eight o'clock at night. I freshened up and ordered a yogurt for myself at the restaurant there. The curd was quite tasty and cost 60 BDT/0.56 USD.

After that, our bus started again, and I finally reached my home around 12 midnight. I came home, freshened up, and had my dinner. I was feeling very tired after working so much all day. So I immediately fell asleep.
