Pitha festival is a tradition of our Bengalis. Pitha is the culture of our Bengalis. There is probably no Bengali whose tongue does not water when he hears the name of Pitha. Pitha is an integral part of Bengali life and culture especially in winter. People are taking interest in organizing pitha festival in different cities. The smell of pitha is coming back. In order to sustain that tradition and spread it among the next generation, pitha festival is jointly organized in schools, colleges and other academies.
