Explain that water is the only life

Before I answer this question, I will start by explaining what water means!

WATER: Water can simply be referred to as a universal solvent that Is tasteless, colourless and odourless.

Water is the only life because, all living organisms or things that have life survives only with water.

Water constitute about 71% of the earth crust thereby nourishing all matters that have life.
Which includes, plants and animals.

In animals, water constitutes the highest percent in majority of its parts including the cells, organelles, tissues, organs, and systems and also aids the basic functions of the above mentioned organization of life thus making water a functional solvent of life.

In summary, water is life because, as living organisms, there is nothing you do that doesn't requires water. We use water to wash clothes, dishes etc, we use water to bath, cook, we drink water etc, our life revolves around water.

Do you think drinking water is decreasing day by day?

Yes. People no longer drink enough water as before because of the emergence of beverages and alcoholic substances.

Most people believe that they must eat before the drink water consequently decreasing the amount of water day after day. Because things are hard and people don't eat as expected, they neglect the part of taking water, no knowing that water is very paramount and vital in human lives.

Inadequate and inefficient source of water supply have also contributed to people not having enough water to drink. War and natural disasters are also not left in the factors that contributes to the populace not having pure and sufficient water for consumption.

What steps can we take to conserve drinking water and prevent wastage?

There are numerous ways to conserve drinking water and prevent wastage.

Below are some of the ways you can conserve drinking water and prevent wastage.

You can conserve and prevent wastage of water by taking the following steps:

1. Maintenanance of water supply pipes.

2. Use of water tanks in homes and industries.

3. Afforesstaion

4. Avoidance of bush burning.

5. Avoid the indiscriminate cutting down of trees.

6. Avoid water contamination.

7. Educating the people on the need to use water efficiently.

8. Avoid indiscriminate construction of boreholes.

9. Water supply infrastructures should not be destroyed during war or conflict.

This and other steps can be taking to conserve drinking water and prevent wastage.

Rain: rainfall is another we can get drinking water when the ground water is depleted.

Other places or sources of getting drinking water when th ground water is depleted is through the rivers, springs and lagoons etc this are all ways to get drinking water when the ground water is depleted.
