One of the fundamental human rights is clothing. In the past, people covered their bodies with animal skins and tree bark. Human clothing has also evolved over time. In modern times, the popularity of clothing to make individuals look good is high. In modern times, people are more concerned about how well they present themselves to others!

One country that makes garments is Bangladesh. China occupies the first place in the production and export of garments. Bangladesh ranks second only to China in garment production and export. Vietnam is competing equally with Bangladesh for second place in apparel production and export. A few days ago, Vietnam moved to the second position. But as a result of the hard work of Bangladeshi workers, Bangladesh was able to achieve second place in the production and export of the garment industry.

Bangladesh is progressing day by day in textile industry or clothing sector. Bangladesh sells produced clothes to several industrialized nations throughout the world, earning significant amount of foreign cash. Bangladesh's economy is heavily reliant on the garment industry and remittances. 82% of Bangladesh's export earnings come from this garment sector.

Fiber/ash is the primary raw material used in the production of clothing. Natural or synthetic fibers are used to make a full garment. These fibers are first spun into yarn. A number of spinning mills in Bangladesh manufacture yarn from diverse fibers. However, the bulk of the yarn used in Bangladesh's industrial firms is imported. The primary reason behind this is a lack of high-quality yarn in the nation. Cotton fiber is the world's most well-known fiber.

Weaving manufacturers use this yarn to make fabric. The fabric is created here by mechanical bonding via interlacing or interlooping. Bangladesh has a number of textile manufacturing plants. Knitted fabrics, on the other hand, are always in more demand than baked textiles. There is no need to import knitwear because 95% of the demand is met domestically.

The clothing are then colored in various hues. The dyeing business is another name for the coloring industry. The textiles are coloured to the specifications of the clients. In this scenario, various substances and techniques are used.

Finally, these vibrant textiles are transformed into usable clothes. It is also known as the finished product. Bangladesh has over 5000 garment manufacturers, sometimes known as ready-made clothes. Fabric is frequently transformed into a full garment at these companies using a cutting swing. These are typically what we purchase at the market.

Aside from addressing the country's apparel needs, the world's major fashion brands purchase garments from Bangladesh. Famous apparel businesses such as Nike, Adidas, and AS&M produce their products in Bangladesh.
