কেমন আছেন সবাই? আশা করি মহান আল্লাহর অশেষ রহমতে আপনারা সবাই ভালো আছেন। আলহামদুলিল্লাহ, মহান আল্লাহর মেহেরবানী ও আপনাদের দোয়ায় আমিও অনেক ভালো আছি। আজ আমি হাজির হয়েছি স্টিম ফর বাংলাদেশ কমিউনিটিতে চলমান SEC-s16w4 : Express Your Love For National Flag প্রতিযোগিতায় অংশ নেবার জন্য।প্রতিযোগিতার শুরুতেই স্টিম ফর বাংলাদেশ কমিউনিটির সকল অ্যাডমিন ও মডারেটরদেরকে সাদুবাদ জানাচ্ছি আমাদেরকে এত সুন্দর একটা বিষয়ের ওপর প্রতিযোগিতা উপহার দেবার জন্য।
আমাদের জাতীয় পতাকা অর্জন ও এই পতাকার ইতিহাস জানতে হলে আমাদেরকে ফিরে যেতে হবে ঘড়ির কাটার অনেকটা উল্টো দিকের সময়ে, সেই ১৯৪৭ সালের ১৪ই অগাস্ট।প্রায় দুইশত বছর যাবৎ ব্রিটিশের দ্বারা শোষিত হয়ে নানা সংগ্রাম ও রক্তারক্তির পর এই দিনটিতে ব্রিটিশরা আমাদের দেশ ছেড়ে চলে যায়।আমরা অর্জন করি স্বাধীনতা। তবে, আমরা এই দিনটাতে একাই স্বাধীনতা লাভ করিনি, আমাদের সাথে বর্তমান পাকিস্থানও স্বাধীনতা লাভ করে। আর আমাদের এই দুই দেশের মাঝে সংখ্যাগরিষ্ট মানুষ মুসলিম হওয়ায় হাজার কিলোমিটার ভৌগোলিক দূরুত্ব থাকা সত্বেও শুধুমাত্র ধর্মের দোহাই দিয়ে আমাদেরকে একটি একক জাতি হিসাবে গন্য করা হয়।
আমরা সেসময় অনেক খুশি ছিলাম। কারন ব্রিটিশদের প্রায় ২০০ বছরের রাজত্ব থেকে মুক্তি পেয়েছি। তবে আমরা এটা কখনোই কল্পনা করতে পারি নি যে আমরা যে দাস ছিলাম সেই দাসই রয়ে গেছি। পরিবর্তনটা হয়েছে শুধু শাসকের।শাসকের হাত বদল হয়ে অন্য শাসক এসেছিলো, যারা আমাদেরকে পূর্বপর শাসকদের থেকেও বেশি অত্যাচার করতো এবং একই সাথে রাষ্ট্রীয় সকল সুবিধা থেকে বঞ্চিত করতো। আমাদের পূর্ব বাংলার বাঙালিদের মুখের ভাষা কেড়ে নিয়ে আমাদেরকে তাদের ভাষায় রূপান্তর করতে যোগাযোগ করার এক গভীর নীল নকশা করেছিলো।দীর্ঘ ২৩ টি বছর তারা আমাদেরকে অসনীয় অত্যাচার ও আমাদের সম্পদ লুট করেছিলো।
১৯৭১ সালের ২৫শে মার্চ নারকীয় গনহত্যা করে তারা, আর এই অভিযানকে নাম দিয়েছিলো অপারেশন সার্চলাইট। এরই পরিপ্রেক্ষিতে, বাঙালির মুক্তির জন্য, ১৯৭১ সালের ২৬ শে মার্চ রাতের প্রথম প্রহরে বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান স্বাধীনতা যুদ্ধের ডাক দেন।তার সেই ডাকে সারা দিয়ে সমস্থ বাঙালিরা যুদ্ধে ঝাপিয়ে পড়ে দীর্ঘ নয় মাস চলেছিলো এই যুদ্ধ। যার মাধ্যমে আমরা স্বাধীন দেশের পাশাপাশি স্বাধীন পতাকাও অর্জন করি।
আমাদের যোদ্ধাদের আরো বেশি উদ্বুদ্ধ করতে ১৯৭০ সালের ৬ই জুন তৎকালীন ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং কলেজের ইকবাল হলের ১১৬ নম্বর রুমে মোট ২৪ জন মানুষ মিলে বাংলাদেশের প্রথম পতাকা তৈরি করেন। সেটিকে প্রথম জনসম্মুখে উড়ানো হয় ২রা মার্চ ১৯৭১ সালে। তবে প্রথম অবস্থায় পতাকাটির মাঝে লাল বৃত্তের ভেতরে বাংলাদেশের মানচিত্রের হলুদ রং এর একটি চিত্র ছিলো পরবর্তীতে এটিকে ১৯৭২ সালের ১২ই জানুয়ারি সরিয়ে ফেলা হয়।আর, নতুন সংস্করিত পতাকাটি ১৯৭২ সালের ১৭ই জানুয়ারি আনুষ্ঠানিকভাবে জাতীয় পতাকার মর্যাদা লাভ করে।
জাতীয় পতাকার প্রতিটি চিহ্ন ও রং খুব গুরুত্বপূর্ণ এবং এগুলো কোনো না কোনেকিছুর তাৎপর্য বহন করে। বাংলাদেশের পতাকায় অবস্থিত সবুজ ও লাল রং এরও বেশ বড় একটি তাৎপর্য রয়েছে সেটি হলো। সবুজ রং দ্বারা বাংলাদেশের অপুর্ব সবুজ প্রকৃতি ও তারুণ্যের প্রতীক বোঝায়। আর লাল রং দ্বারা উদীয়মান সূর্য ও মহান স্বাধীনতা যুদ্ধে শহীদ হওয়া বীর বাঙালিদের রক্তস্রোতকে বোঝায়।

দেশ ও দেশের পতাকার প্রতি আমার আঁকা সামান্য ছবি কখনো যথাযথ সমান সম্মান প্রদর্শন করতে পারবে না বলে আমি মনে করি।তবে, আমি মনে করি দেশকে ও দেশের পতাকাকে সম্মান জানানের উদ্দেশ্যে আমার মতো একজন সামান্য নাগরিকের ভালোবাসা আমার দেশ সানন্দে গ্রহন করে নিবে।নিচে আমার দেশের পতাকাকে ভালোবেসে আমি যে পতাকাটি একেছি সেটির কিছু বর্ননা তুলে ধরা হলো:
📝 ধাপ ১ঃ
প্রথম ধাপে আমি একটি সাদা A4 সাইজের কাগজকে কেটে সমান দুই ভাগে ভাগ করে নিয়েছি এবং এরপর কাগজটির একভাগের ওপর একটি পেন্সিল দিয়ে গোলাকার একটি বৃত্ত অঙ্কন করেছি।

দ্বিতীয় ধাপে আমি বৃত্তের মাঝে আমার দেশের পতাকার একটি উড়ন্ত চিত্র একেছি এবং সেটির সাথে লাগানে লাঠিকে মাড়ির ভেতরে পুতে দিয়েছি।এরপর আমি পতাকার পিছনে ঝোপঝাড় ও সূর্য এঁকেছি।

তৃতীয় ধাপে আমি পতাকার উপরে আকাশ এঁকেছি। এরপর পতাকা, গাছপালা, সূর্য ও আকাশকে প্রয়োজনীয় রং এ রাঙিয়ে দিয়েছি।

This bloody history of winning our flag is our glory. Although the country was partitioned in 1947, we did not get full independence which we achieved through the bloody war of 1971. We display this blood color red in our flag in honor of the brave warriors of our country. Your national flag craft is awesome. Good luck to you bro.

National flag is a symbol of independence and sovereignty of a country. The flag is not just a piece of cloth but its our emotion. For which we sacrificed 30 lakh lives. This is our flag earned in exchange for the lives of 30 martyrs. The British ruled Bengal from 1757 to 1947. Even though the country was saved from the British in 1947, we still could not gain independence. It was basically a handover of power by the rulers. In the name of freedom, the Pakistanis wanted to keep us as slaves. After 24 long years and 9 months of bloody war we achieved freedom and a flag30 lakh lives have been given to fly the flag of Bengal. For which we have deep respect and love for the flag. Kudos to you for such a beautiful presentation about the flag.
After living as a colony under the British for two hundred years, when we saw them leave this country in 1947, we were basically not free. Rather, I fell under the control of another ruler. Later we went to war for 23 years of tortured life to get our rights. 3 million people lost their lives and 2 lakh mothers and sisters lost their honor in that war. So freedom and national flag gained by such great sacrifice is very dear to us. Thanks for your valuable opinion.
ষোলোশত শতকের দিকে আমাদের দেশে আগমন হয় ব্রিটিশদের। প্রথমে তারা আমাদের দেশে বানিজ্য করার উদ্দেশ্যে আসলেও পরে তারা আমাদের রাজনৈতিক বিষয়গুলোতে হস্তক্ষেপ করতে থাকে।এরই ফলস্বরূপ তারা একসময় আমাদের দেশকে নিজেদের কবলে নিয়ে ফেলে। এরপর তারা আমাদের দেশকে প্রায় ২০০ বছর নির্মম অত্যাচার ও লুট করতে থাকে।১৯৪৭ সালে তাদের হাত থেকে অনেক সংগ্রামের মাধ্যমে পরিত্রান পেলেও আমরা শাসকের হাত বদল হয়ে অন্য শাসকের কবলে পরি।তারাও আমাদেরকে ২৩ বছর শাসন করে। এরপর আমাদের দেশের দামাল ছেলেরা মহান স্বাধীনতার জন্য যুদ্ধে ঝাপিয়ে পড়ে। দীর্ঘ ৯ মাস যুদ্ধ করার পর আমরা আমাদের স্বাধীনতার পাশাপাশি একটি জাতীয় পতাকা পাই।
For the British to rule our country, our country became very weak economically because they looted and forcibly took away all the resources of our country. After them Pakistanis came and trapped us in the wall of discrimination. Finally by fighting against them we got our great freedom as well as our national flag which is really a lot of glory.

National flag is not just a flag. It is the material that carries the identity of the country. Therefore, the importance of this great flag in the national life of Annas is very high. We Bengalis were freed from the British in 1947, but we still had handcuffs on our hands and iron shackles on our whole body. Because, after being freed from one ruler, we went to another In the hands of a foreign ruler. They also ruled us for 23 long years, looting our country's wealth. A group of brave people came forward from among our Bengalis to get rid of their torture. They continued to fight against the Pakistanis but finally the people of the country joined the war and defeated the Pakistani forces to achieve our great freedom and a national flag as a reward for the victory. If the brave boys of Bengal would have been sitting in the corner of the house that day without jumping into the war of independence. However, maybe this country of ours never saw the face of independence. Because the rule and the amount of the rulers increased day by day. I honor every moment the flag won through that bloody war of 9 months from my heart. Ani Mobe Kari Chanra until all of us do not raise our voice to show respect to this flag, the dreams of the martyrs of the liberation war will not be fulfilled.
