SEC-S17W1: "Season of My Country"
Good morning friends how are you doing and your family hope you are all good today .
How many seasons is in your country? Which one is your favorite and why?
In nigeria here we have three types of seasons
We have raining season,dry season and harmattan season.
The raining season starts from around march it will start dropping partially not fully well but when we get to june,july it will be raining more frequently it is always at it's peak in August when we will start experiencing more frequent rain all around the country and it is our farming season we farm cassava ,yam ,rice ,groundnut and sweet potatoes which are mainly the food that we consume in Nigeria,
Raining season is one of my favorite seasons because the weather is cool most of the time and people always have abundant food and fruit to consume or sale.
Dry season this is season that we experience excess heat in the country because by then they will be no rainy fall at all and it is one of my worst seasons because am always uncomfortable during this season
Harmattan season this is the coldest season among all the seasons in nigeria it's my favorite season because that will no heat and no too much sunlight and its season that we have am fresh fruit like mangoes,oranges,pineapples, almost all the fruits are ripe and ready for harvest.
If there was one season you wanted to skip forever, which one would it be? Explain the reason.
If there is a season i will like to skip it will be the dry season i will like to skip it due to the excessive sun that cause too much heat and makes me very uncomfortable it causes skin disease like rashes
Describe a traditional or special activity that people in your country do during a particular season.
A wise man said that there is time fir everything. A time to sew and a time to reap so September period which is towards the ending raining season and the time for harvest
During September we have a very special event every year that we celebrate we call it new yam festival, we the igbo's always celebrate this new yam festival every year and it most be September .
The yam festival is like Christmas to us some times its even hotter than Christmas because we get to see our friends and relatives and during this special occasions we celebrate it with plenty Masquerade and every family have to cook or roast yam and people always fix their weddings during this period .
Are there any special foods or drinks that people in your country enjoy most during certain seasons? If so, what is it and why?
During the harmattan period we enjoy a lot of foods like yam,cassava,rice and will still enjoy fruits like bea, pawpaw,and so mich more its my favorite seasons because we have abundance of everything we want

Thank you so much for sharing a post by which I come to know about the seasons of your country.You have presented wonderfully the different seasons of your country with its characteristics.Every season has some own characteristics. One is different from other. Nature changes it look in every season. By reading you post I come to know that there are three seasons in your country. Some like most winter and some like other seasons but you nothing dislike because every seasons is important for us. and the hottest season of your country is summer.The temperature is high in this time. Go ahead and all the best.
Is good to know Bangladesh has six seasons which are summer, monsoon, autumn, late autumn, winter, and spring. Your favorite season is monsoon because it brings relief from the scorching heat of summer and also helps in agriculture by providing much-needed rain. The lush green surroundings and cool weather make it a beautiful time of the year.
I will love to experience all this season in your country

te gustaría omitir por el fuerte calor excesivo que hace en esa época
Y teniendo en cuenta las palabras de Salomón que hay un tiempo para todo la temporada de lluvia es ideal para las siembras
