In this world, those who deceive other people suffer more, because the one who deceives is sometimes the victim of deception, although temporarily he seems to have benefited, but actually he has harmed himself, the one who is deceived is not harmed, rather He gains, though outwardly it appears that the one who has cheated is harmed, but he is not harmed but benefited.

Many a time some people deceive people by telling lies, when his lying is exposed in front of everyone, no one believes him even if he is telling the truth, everyone thinks that he is lying today like every day, if he is facing any big danger. And when he asks for help from someone else, no one helps him, everyone thinks he is lying.

One such story is mentioned in the ninth chapter of our madrasa first class Bengali book, after a long time I read the story and learned that one cannot deceive anyone by lying, I read this story when I was a child in school, today I read the story again a lot. I learned nothing new, the story was short but very good.

The name of the story is "The Tiger and the Shepherd" The story mentions that a shepherd used to keep goats in the field, he used to go to the field with the goats every day, one day he shouted that the tiger has come, the tiger has come, all the people around come to him, they come and see. There is no tiger, then they say to the shepherd, where is the tiger? The shepherd says that I joked with you, why should you come if I say tiger? Everyone then left from there.

The next day the shepherd again took the goats to the field, and again he shouted that the tiger had come, again the villagers came, they came and saw no tiger, the shepherd asked them to leave, thus fooling the villagers for three days, suddenly one day the tiger really came. and the shepherd started shouting that the tiger had come, but this time the villagers did not come forward, the tiger ate him along with the shepherd's goats, the shepherd and his goats were no longer found.

From this story we can understand that fooling someone by lying or fooling someone is harmful, so we will never tell a lie, and we will never deceive someone else by lying, if someone believes me if I tell a lie. No, even if we speak the truth, people will think that we are lying.
