Steemian Friends,
Today, I will write my Electrical Learning Part 10 and Week 10. Today, I will show you how to measure electricity. Anyone can measure 220 V by looking at my writing.

Equipment required:

  • An analog multimeter
  • A digital multimeter
  • A 220 V multi-socket
  • A 3-phase MCB
  • A tester

In our country, 220,440 volts is low-voltage AC electricity. 33,132 kV is high voltage. Today, I will show you how to measure low voltage. I took an analog and digital multimeter to measure low voltage. In our country many people measure voltage with analog multimeters and many people measure voltage with digital multimeters. So I will show measuring voltage with two meters.

Step01:

First I will measure the voltage with a digital multimeter. I first take a multi-socket (220v) to measure 220 volts. Then, I supply 220 volts to the multi-socket. Switch on multi-socket.

Step02:

Then I will set the digital multimeter to 220 volts. The digital multimeter is in the OFF state. I take the selector point as AC is written with the selector switch. AC and DC voltage can be measured here. Since I will be measuring AC power, I need to hold down the first knob on the left from the top knobs to take me to the AC power measurement option. I have shown it in the image below.

Step03:

Then I take the two knobs of the digital multimeter. A red one is what we call the positive terminal. The other is black in color which we call the negative terminal. Hold the two knobs in both hands at the two points of the multi-socket.

Step04:

Then I look at the multi-meter display. The display shows 238 volts and 239 volts. I was supposed to show 220 volts here. But now I am measuring 238 volts. That means now there is an overvoltage problem. If there is an over-voltage problem, there is a possibility of damage to the equipment powered by this electricity. We check if the voltage is correct by measuring with a digital multimeter.

Today, I measured my 220 volts and found that I have overvoltage here. I now have to reduce the voltage to 220 volts. Otherwise, various electrical equipment in my factory will be destroyed. This is how voltage problems are diagnosed with a digital multimeter.

Today, I show you how to measure 220 volts with a digital multimeter. Anyone can see my post on measuring voltage at home with a digital multimeter. I will demonstrate measuring 440 volts in the next electrical learning part.

You tried to explain the 220 voltage measurement very well from the beginning to the end it was very good but still I am very afraid of such foreign works because there is a possibility of hobbyism and also these works are very risky so I am such I try to stay away from the work full time but maybe you have become a habit of doing these things so you have gained a lot of experience here so it is perfect I hope something good is waiting for you in the future.
