📢 Contest - Save Youth from Drug Addiction.

Assalamu Alaikum, Steemit friends, how are you all? I hope you are all well by God's grace. I am also fine by the grace of God. Today I will participate in a nice contest by @ripon0630, brother of the Steem For Bangladesh community. The name of the contest is Contest - Save Youth from Drug Addiction. I hope everyone will like my writing.

✅ What do you think are the main reasons for youth to become addicted to drugs?

I think the main reasons for the youth to be addicted to drugs are as follows:

• The bond between the parents of the family is not strong. If the parents of the family do not give good advice and care to the children during their childhood, the children get involved in bad activities like drugs. The hearts of boys and girls are tender. They get involved in addictions like drugs when they grow up amidst the love and strife of their parents. So I think if the bond between parents is not good, then our youth society gets involved in bad addictions like drugs.

• Unemployment and depression: If there is unemployment and depression in the youth society, they become addicted to drugs. Because when a young man can't find a job, he gets frustrated and turns to drugs to get rid of his worries. If a young man is busy all day at work, he will not have time to indulge in drugs. I think youth get addicted to drugs due to depression due to unemployment.

• If you hang out with friends and people who are intoxicated: Youth society is the main reason for getting addicted to drugs and hanging out with friends and people who are intoxicated. If the parents of the family do not pay attention to the movement of the boys and girls, then the youth gets addicted to drugs through bad friends.

• There are other reasons, such as children from rich families often becoming addicted to drugs as a hobby. Many people become addicted to doing bad things in society. Some people get addicted to drugs due to family disputes. Another reason is the lack of adequate playgrounds, and the bad influence of information technology is causing the youth to become addicted to drugs.

✅ What is the extent of drug addiction in your society? Do you think it's important to prevent drug addiction among youth?

There are many drug addicts in my society. When I was a child in the village, we used to spend time playing cricket and football. And now, I go to the village and see that the youth society is not getting a playground, and that's why they are turning to drugs. There are many drug dealers in our area who smuggle drugs even abroad. Sometimes I hear the police coming to the area and taking away young boys because of drugs.

I think now the youth should be protected from drugs. Youth society needs to be protected from the clutches of drugs by various measures. If the youth can be protected from drugs, bad deeds will be reduced in society.

✅ How can you encourage them to make healthy choices and what steps do you think would be effective to save them?

I think the youth can be protected from drugs by doing the following:

• Provide adequate playgrounds for the youth. They will not become addicted to drugs through entertainment.

• Parents of the family should be aware. Everyone should be careful when their sons and daughters mix with whom.

• The government should make the youth enterprising. Then there will be no unemployment in the society. Then the youth society is not the result of addiction like drugs.

• Every parent should stay away from family conflicts so that the children are not adversely affected.

• Schooling and reading should be made compulsory for the children of every family in society. The more educated the society, the more the youth will be saved from drugs.
