For me, I often recommend Sidi Bou Saïd, which is one of my favorite places in Tunisia, especially for its unique atmosphere. This picturesque village is famous for its winding lanes, whitewashed houses with blue doors and windows and vibrant bougainvillea that add a splash of color to every corner. I find that the combination of its traditional architecture with the breathtaking view of the Mediterranean Sea creates a magical atmosphere that attracts artists and beauty lovers from all over the world.

The island of Djerba, on the other hand, attracts me with its cultural diversity and rich history, dating back to ancient times. Djerba's fine sandy beaches combined with its unique heritage that includes Berber, Arab and Jewish influences, make it a fascinating destination for those looking to immerse themselves in a melting pot of cultures while enjoying seaside relaxation. . Every year I see many visitors, captivated by the island's quiet charm and its cultural festivals, returning to further explore this pearl of the Mediterranean.

Do foreign tourists visit these spots? What special facilities are there for them?

Yes, absolutely, I regularly see that Sidi Bou Saïd and the island of Djerba attract visitors from all over the world, seduced by their beauty and cultural richness. To best accommodate these foreign tourists, special arrangements have been put in place. For example, in Sidi Bou Saïd, I often recommend to my visiting friends to take advantage of the services of multilingual tourist guides who not only explain the history of this artistic village but also offer captivating anecdotes about the local way of life. The hotels here, from the most luxurious to the most modest, are designed to guarantee comfort and authenticity, allowing visitors to immediately feel at ease in an enchanting Mediterranean setting.

On the island of Djerba, specialized excursions are a real plus for discovering lesser-known aspects of the island, such as its ancestral olive groves or its small island communities which practice centuries-old traditions. These tours are often customizable and can include visits to local craft workshops, where you can see the artisans at work and even purchase unique souvenirs. What kind of improvement do you think is needed to increase the visibility of foreign tourists there?

In my opinion, to strengthen the visibility of destinations like Sidi Bou Saïd and the island of Djerba among foreign tourists, several improvements would be particularly beneficial. First of all, it is crucial to improve road infrastructure. I believe that better maintained and more accessible roads would make it easier for visitors to travel between major sites and local airports or ports, making the travel experience more pleasant and less stressful. Furthermore, I am convinced that strengthening digital marketing campaigns abroad would be very effective. A stronger presence on social platforms and in international digital media would help highlight the beauties and particularities of these places to a global audience.

Furthermore, I firmly believe that the development of dedicated mobile applications would be an excellent way to capture the interest of young travelers and technophiles. These apps could offer interactive maps, personalized recommendations, simplified reservations for accommodation or activities, and up-to-date practical information, all at your fingertips. These technologies could not only improve the visitor experience but also facilitate the discovery of hidden gems in these regions, thus increasing their attractiveness and accessibility. In short, I think that these improvements would significantly contribute to increasing the visibility and attractiveness of Sidi Bou Saïd and Djerba for tourists from around the world.

Do you know any spot that is not yet known to everyone but has the potential to become a popular tourist destination in the future?

Yes, I am convinced that the old port of Bizerte is an underrated gem that has enormous tourism potential. This fascinating place combines history, culture and natural beauty, all framed by crystal clear waters and a vibrant urban setting. Walking along the old port, I am always amazed by the harmonious coexistence of traditional fishing boats and modern yachts, as well as the historic fortifications that bear witness to the city's rich past.

I believe that to transform this site into a major tourist destination, targeted investment would be necessary, particularly in the restoration of historic buildings and improvement of local infrastructure. Additionally, a good promotion of Bizerte as a destination offering both leisure activities and cultural learning opportunities could attract a wider audience. Well-designed marketing campaigns highlighting Bizerte's unique attractions, such as its annual festivals, museums, and beaches, would help increase its visibility internationally.

As a history and culture lover, I also see incredible potential in organizing guided tours around the historical and maritime themes of the old port, providing an immersive experience for visitors. With concerted efforts to showcase its unique charm and fascinating stories, I am confident that the old port of Bizerte could become a must-visit destination for travelers seeking discovery and authenticity.
