Hello, my lovely Steemians! Greetings to you and welcome to my post. I trust you enjoyed yourself to the fullest during the Christmas celebration. I am so excited to have you here in this post where I talk about my relationship with my loved one.
How do you express love and affection for each other? |

When it comes to relationships, we have our own different ways of making our partner feel happy, which is either through the expression of love or affection. Having said this, there are many ways that I do express love and affection when it has to do with relationships. In a nutshell, below are the following ways that I express love and affection:
Through Gifts
In my own case, giving gifts is one of the ways that I express my love and affection. Giving things like handmade items, clothes, flowers, or any nice gifts Giving gifts is, I believe, the best way to demonstrate our love for each other.
Through Acts of Kindness
This is another way that I express love and affection. In this case, I will make sure that I do something kind or helpful for each other, most especially my partner. This is very simple because all I have to do is help with some housework or make a meal for my loved one. It's through this act of kindness that I show my loved letting her know that she is important to me.
Through Touch:
This is what I call physical affection. Through this way, I express my love and affection by holding hands with my partner, walking together, or embracing my partner when we get to meet.
Through Words:
I do express love and affection with each other by giving compliments and words of encouragement, like "You're very pretty, I love you," and other sweet words. Sometimes I do leave notes of appreciation and affection.
Through Time Giving
I do spend time with my partner. I will make sure that we have undivided attention for things like cracking jokes or taking a walk together.
What are some of your favorite memories together? |

Some of my favorite memories together were the time of our graduation, which was during our defense, and the time that I came back from an excursion. All this you can see in the pictures below.

What have you learned from your relationship? How do you handle disagreements? |
|---|
I learn about being humble, respectful, and tolerant; how to handle situations; and how to present a gift to someone. In regards to disagreement, I do handle disagreement by admitting that I am wrong at that particular moment of disagreement, even when I am not wrong for peace to take over.
Sometime, if I notice that there's about to be disagreement, I will just walk out until everything has calmed down.
What do you do to keep the spark alive in your relationship? |

The things that I do to keep the spark alive in my relationship are as follows:
- Communicating with each other
- Paying attention
- Supporting each other
- Texting each other
- Showing concern for each other.
What are some meaningful ways you use to connect with your partner? |

The meaningful means by which I connect with my partner when we are at a distance is via chat and phone call, which are both considered forms of communication. We do chat on WhatsApp and Facebook and call each other on video calls.
How do you keep communication open and honest? |

I keep communication open and honest by not keeping secrets from my partner. Each time we are communicating, I discuss almost everything that happens around me. We then share some jokes, and sometimes our communication is through video calls and chatting.
We tell each other the truth in such a way that if there is a body that tries to toast her, she will let me know about the person who is crushing on her. Telling each other the truth is the only perfect way to be honest in a relationship.

Communication is very important in all relationships and the lack of it keeps the partner apart and causes a problem, showing your affection through gifts, touch, and words is a very important way of showing affection. Thanks for the invite and good luck with the contest.
