Assalamu Alaikum, friends Greetings for the winter season. In Bangladesh, six distinct seasons are in succession. Winter is one of the seasons. Wintertime brings farmers' new rice home. With the new rice powder of the rice, the house-to-house pitha festival begins. Date juice, jaggery, and new rice flour are used to make many kinds of pithapuli. Different names of pitha, and different types of taste. Bengali households celebrate a variety of pitha festivals, in addition to Vapa pitha, Chitai pitha, Patisapta, and Puli pithas. In winter, our hearts are content with pies and date jaggery kheer. For Pitha, a lot of people travel from cities to villages during this winter. Then the village houses are busy with the arrival of guests. The fun of sitting by the hearth on a winter morning and eating hot pies is a different feeling. The village and the metropolis have different perceptions of pithapuli's flavor. The city's large hotels host the Pitha Festival. One important part of Bengali culture is pithapuli. I'll be sharing the recipe for Coconut Pulipitha with you today.

no | Ingredients | Quantity |
---|---|---|
1 | rice powder | 2 cup |
2 | flour | 1 cup |
3 | coconut | 1 cup |
4 | date jaggery | 3 cup |
5 | milk | 500 gm |
6 | semolina | 1 cup |
7 | oil | 250ml |
Step- I
First I will mix 2 cups of rice powder with 1 cup of flour well. Then I put a pot of water on the stove to heat it. When the water boils, mix the flour with hot water and shake it well. Then after cooling it for some time, I will make the dough by shaking it with my hands. I will make the dough and cover it.
Step- II
I'll prepare the coconut filling for the pitha in this step. I put a pot on the stove. I warmed the milk in the saucepan. After that, I'll thoroughly combine it with a fair amount of semolina, date jaggery, and grated coconut. I'll remove the pitha halua from the oven and let it cool after stirring it for a while.
Step- III
In this step, I will take the boiled flour. Then I will round the dough well and make bread. After making the bread, I cut the bread into small pieces with the help of a glass.
Step- IV
In this step, I filled the cut bread with coconut semolina. Then I will close the mouth of the pitha by pressing it with my hand so that the mouth of the pitha does not open while frying in oil. I will make all pithas in the same way.
Step- V
I'll light a saucepan on the stove. After that, I'll fill the saucepan with 250 ml of oil. The pita should be gradually dropped into the boiling oil.
Step- VI
The pitha should be fried on both sides until brown. Take the pita out of the oil once it's fried. I'll use this method to cook the remaining pithas.
Now the pithas are ready to serve. Winters are arranged in pithapuli. And in the mind of a Bengali, an extraordinary feeling is revealed in winter. Ending here today. I will come back again with new recipes. Everyone will be fine. Allah Hafez.
